Smoked nearly most of my life, sick of the smell staying with me, the mess of butts and ash, inconvience of not smoking in the house, and hate what it has done to my lung health.
For the past 3 years I havent bought smokes by the carton due to not wanting them on hand if I
ever decided to quit. I seen a news story on something called "e-cig" so I went to the website and
did a bit of reading. I was instantly amazed at what I was reading. (even tho the site was in broken english). I instantly ordered from china my first e-cig three weeks ago. It was a very little thing, it
was sold as new technoligy "the exact size of a cig, and only two parts to deal with. 1) the battery and 2) the cartomizer . Well they came in, I loved it and was bragging to my family of my new find. A few days later, and I found the need for 3 or 4 extra batteries (they didnt last long) and a pass through system. A week ago I found this site and started reading. I am happy to say I now no longer line up carts along the counter each day with a needle dropping liquid, wondering if I am about to "suck" on a dry or bad cart, and I no longer get dry mouth from puffing the heck out of a tiny e-cig that plugs into the usb port of my car, (which I would never of dreamed of smoking a real .... in) , I also no longer panic to keep track of 5 batteries charging to take care of my quitting urge.

I went with an e-go t system. got it with two big batteries and after a bit more reading, the same day I ordered what was needed to convert it to use the tanks. Long story short....Ordered it last wed, got it all on sat. along with trial packs of juice. My first battery just let go, 28 hours later, and ohhh my God am I happy! I now know I will never smoke tobacco again. This whole experiance is going to be a blast!

A big thank you to all who take the time to post here as to help and educate newbies such as me!:p:p:p

It is amazing..at least to me. This just feels like one of the few "very best things" I've ever done for myself and my family.
My kids ( 22 & 20 ) can not believe it. They have seen me all their lives puffing away on smokes. I used to totally inconvience
everyone around me, in order to get my fix. Cig butts no matter how hard I tried, would be all around the yard and everywhere.
I have my mother, brother and my best friend looking into this.... I just feel the need to say it again. I WILL NEVER SMOKE TOBACCO AGAIN..
p.s. I also wonder (because I follow news) what the state and govnmt are going to do with the loss of my (sin tax dollar) at aprox 2.00 a pack? They say the tax is used for healthcare for the uninsured....now isnt that a quinkidink..

Ain't it grand! It will get better every day. Here, let me pat you on the back....... Like you I can't see myself ever going back. Going to the big batts is the way to go. Luckily I started with them thanks to the good advise of my local vendor, he saved me a lot of money and aggravation and in the long run it assured my sucess. 5 months now.

Im just over two weeks....but it also feels a bit cheating for some reason

Gatso - I know what you mean. I'm into my third week. I have tried quitting cigs three times, most successfully last year for five months with the nic lozenges. But I sucked about 15 of those things a day and never got over wanting a cig.
I think that's why it feels like we are cheating - it's simply too painless this way! I actually have a pack of cigs - still smoking one a day but every time I am thinking - yuck, this is nasty! And my ecig (hate that name) is waaay more satisfying than the Ultra Lights I smoked when it works right. I think once I get a good, consistant vape set up going that will stop.

I bought cartons before I quit.

I had three packs left when my e cig came.

I gave them away to avoid temptation.
