Cigarettes AND E-cigs are banned in bars in GA so you have to go outside to smoke them.

Ecigs are not banned anywhere in Georgia, I believe. I think at the moment Dekalb county is trying to get them put into their smoking ban, but the matter hasn't been decided yet.

Our last few vaper's meets have been done in bars, and we vape like crazy. Our next meet on May 7th will be in a bar, and you can bet we will be vaping.

It's not to big of a deal for me, I actually like smoking outside, but last night was just terrible. I woke up with THE WORST heartburn, I haven't had that since I quit smoking! Not having heartburn was by far the best benefit of quitting cigarettes.

I can still always stealth vape though :p

But it still saddens me that E-cigs are put in the category of Traditional Cigarettes. I'd like to write a letter to the person in charge, but I don't even know where to start. Non-smokers do not mind when I smoke e-cigs, they actually enjoy smelling the watermelon vapor.

I've got a lot of friendly responses from non-smokers. I'll be in the park and blow a hit only to have a non smoker walk through a cloud of smoke. I say sorry, and at first they back away angry, smell it, then smile and say "what the heck is that? it smells good! Is that even a cigarette?!"

When I went out side I was greeted by 20+ smokers. After inhaling all there second hand smoke I can safely say I prob had equivalent to a pack :p

I have discovered 3 or 4 sports bars in the Atlanta area that are fine with vaping.

I'm in New Orleans. Savannah is called "Sister City of New Orleans" because they share much the same style of design look and feel. Unlike Savannah however, almost everything is legal in New Orleans bars. If they tried to outlaw smoking in bars here it would never pass. There are too many people that would rise up and fight and it would really harm our tourism in bars which is a Big money maker for New Orleans. Our bars even stay open 24/7. The food in bars here is best, the booze is best they are always packed. Heck everyone on ECF should come down here and taste The Good Life.<grin>
