I've pretty much decided on the Smokeless Image Volt, and I just wanted some feedback. Here's my history with vaping.

My co-worker had original been to a 'Smoke Free' kiosk at the mall, and bought one of their E-cigs for $150.00. I wound up buying it from her for $15 dollars. I think they're the same as 'Smoking Anywhere' Does anyone know what model this is, and other than the price, what is the major complaint with these?

I then decided to look into Volcano, and I bought one of their Volcano Kits as I was interested in the Blu Cig, and I've heard this was better. I'm not very happy with it, as the battery dies in about an hour.

So I've narrowed it down to Bloog and Volt. I'm pretty much 99% sure about the Volt, I'm just not sure what the different is between the 65mm and 78mm battery. What's the battery life, and how long do their pre-filled cartomizers last? Any advice or recommendation would be much appreciated!

The question is - do you want to charge it every 1-3 hours or every 2-4 hours?

And just my opinion - I would wait for the manual batteries. I heard they were getting manuals. But if your get the autos, you could try a manual for $10 at LiteCigUSA.net (KR808D-1 manual 280mah). I like having 3 batteries for each ecig anyway - one for overnight and to also leave home charging when I'm at work, 2 to bring with me. It's also good to have extra charging cables - a second for at home and one for at work. Then I use a PCC when I am out.

Hi almost:) I've been vaping for 2+ yrs and just recently bought the Volt. I would recommend the 78mm in a manual battery. To me the manual battery gives a stronger"hit" than the auto batts. Just my opinion. If I was new I would get the 44.95 starter kit with the 2 78mmbatts. I'd get manual ones. Or you can move up to the $60? kit and get a pcc with it. Also if you know what flavors you like I'd try either the tobacco sampler or the sweet sampler. A LOT of people on the Volt thread LOVE the RY4 and 555 cartos. The cartos are very user friendly, easy to refill and give plumes of vapor. Coupon code HEATWAVE will get you 23% off your total at checkout:) Get your post count up and PM me for any other questions you may have:) Keep posting questions to get your count up:)http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...87974-official-smokelessimage-com-thread.html

Volt currently has manuals in a few of the colors....the rest will be in either this weekend, or early next week. The difference in size is the length of time between charges.....The 65 will not last as long as the 78mm. I will throw out a suggestion....regardless of which length you get, I would get more than 2 batts....and rotate them all;)

I like the autos....they are so much better than they used to be...no primer puff needed any longer and the draw on the volts is awesome! I think you made a great choice in going with SI and the Volt!

I had an ecig like that a long time ago and I hated it.. Both the 65 and 78's from VOLT are great products. The 78 will last a bit longer than the 65 but over all, the ether will last longer than the mall cig. Smokeless Image is a great company with awesome customer service and fast shipping! Also save a lot of money with them too! Good luck and Happy vaping:)

+1 to RIMP :) and they already have the manuals, I vape with mine for about 6 hours before charging, im not a super heavy vaper (78 mm) I use 2 cartos a day, id go with the 44.95 or the 60 dollar kit, gives you to start out, VOLT is definitely the way to go, been using mine for a month, love every minute of it. Recommend the sweet sampler.

To me the only reason you would want to get the 65mm batt would be to allow you to use the neat pcc case to charge on the go. I got the case somewhere else for less. I like the case and the 65mm work but if you aren't going the case route then get the larger battery. It's that simple. With auto batt you need to be wary of getting juice in the switch. I like autos and manuals just be more careful with auto. Good luck. (I like spending less at litecig or other vendors for the same product rather than smokelessimage, but they aren't that overpriced)

We love our Volt! My husband and I both have two 78mm batteries each. I'm a stay at home mom and he can charge his in his work van during the day. I plan on getting us each another for trips/days we won't be close to a charger ... Really I need to get a pcc kit. lol

Cartos... I use 2 a day and he uses 3. I refill them to make it better on my budget.

With other PV's, I use manual - always. But with the VOLT, I go auto. That's only because it's more like a "cigarette" experience. For me, it doesn't feel natural to hold a PV like a cigarette when I have to hit a button. The VOLT hits immediately without a need for primer puffs - even on an auto. I got the 65mm batteries and the sexy charging case for the shorter batteries. It's really easy to fill the cartos, and will save you money in the long run. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there's a video on Smokeless Image on how to fill them. If not, there's sure to be one on YouTube. I'd definitely go with VOLT. Their prices are better (especially shipping!!!), the product is high-quality, and their customer service is top notch.

Ok, so I just wanted to clarify a few things.

1) Pre-filled or fill my own? I have no idea how to fill my own. How long do the pre-filled last?
2) What is the difference in vaping experience between manual and automatic?
3) Which kit do you feel is the best to buy?
4) Car charger, needed?
This should help you out see this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4qojnO8aQU&feature=player_embedded#at=259

Sorry about the vid.....some reason it starts at the end??? Just rewind to the beginning

I recommend manual - easier to get a good hit - you can press the button is 1-2 seconds before you start your drag so there is vapor already made. Manuals are less prone to being damaged or killed by carto leaks, and if you fill or refill cartos then no matter how careful you are, occasionally one is going to leak on the end of your battery. I think manuals are less work too - you can drag as soft or unevenly as you want.

A prefilled carto doesn't last as long as a pack of cigs even though that is what some vendors like to claim. I keep my cartos damp so I don't singe the stuffing and so I can get a week or more use out of one carto.

Bloog doesn't offer manuals so I recommend Volt or Vapor4Life or a plain KR808D-1 at LiteCigUSA.net. They all use the same threading (and polarity as far as I know) so you can always try parts/carts of the others.

Definitely go Volt! Awesomely fast shipping time, cheaper shipping rates than Bloog, great customer service. Volt batteries and cartos have destroyed everything else I have tried in my 4 month e-cig adventure. If you want something that hits close to a cigarette, the Volt is the way to go.

I have 3 65mm auto batteries and rotate them. I like to not have to push a button, and the Volt autos (ahem, and Bloog too) are really consistent on the draw. One charge lasts me about 2 hrs, but if you have a PCC, the next one is ready to go when the one you are using runs out...it's like a perfectly timed rotation at my rate of vaping.

Try some prefilled cartos to get an idea of what you like...get each of their samplers. Then stock up on blank cartos and buy some juice. Ultimately that is way more economical. You can refill the cartos several times. I use the cartomizer condom method...fill the rubber cap almost full. Slip one end of the carto into it sllloooowwwwly and it sucks up the juice. Wipe of the end really good and there ya go.

As far as how long a carto lasts before refilling, really depends on how heavy you hit it. I go through about 2 carto fills a day, higher end of moderate I guess?

I'd recommend the kit with 2 batts and the PCC. The PCC is the same size as an iPhone and carries naturally in your pocket.

Volt is a great choice. Totally changed my opinion on cig-shaped vaporizers. You can't go wrong with the Volt. Good luck!

Another vote for the VOLT. I've been vaping for several months now and gone through different equipment. I won my first VOLT battery (65mm). Thinking that I'd probably give it away to someone just starting, I wanted to try it first. It changed my total perceptions of "cigarette like" e-cigs! I've since ordered an extra battery (78mm). When I get more money, I'll try to get either another 78mm and/or a PCC. Wonderful customer service, speedy shipping, and great product. I've been doing this for a while, so I already have some of my own juices. I like to order the prefilled cartos for the ease and then when they start drying out, I add some of my own juice. I just take the white "plastic" cap off of the carto (after removing it from the battery) and drip juice along the sides of the carto as if I were pouring a beer---giving it time to soak in. If it starts coming out of the other in, I know that I've put too much. Then I blow the excess onto a paper towel and dry off the threaded end. So much easier than more expensive e-cigs. Both of my batteries are automatic---more like an analog. My next battery will probably be a manual for comparison.

I wish I could contribute to the thread, However I cant... Ive been trying to decide on what I wanted to try first (being new to the E cig scene) I had made my mind up on a 510, then I ended up going with the Volt... Just ordered it today, Not really sure when it will get here. I bought the starter package with the usb charger, wall charger, 2 78mm manuals and bought an extra 78mm auto for comparison. Ended up buying both of the sampler packs too... Based on you alls posts, Im feeling pretty good about my purchase... Guess all I have to do is wait on the mail now :(
