I wasn't very fond of the smoke tech attys. -- I bought a few in January or February and they worked, but I wasn't very impressed. My sister uses them and when I've vaped her 510 or eGo clone, I felt the same way about them. I have to add that I've become really picky about my attys. I don't really care how long they last. I only care about how they perform. So, the caveat is that I'm probably a little over critical. The ones I've used before all worked, they just didn't perform to my high expectations.

Well, the recent atty sale made me have a "what the heck, why not" moment and I added a 510 2.0 ohm to my last order. - I drip a couple of hours a day mostly late at night. I popped the coil on a 2.0 ohm cisco tonight and decided to break out that smoke tech atty I got the other day. After cleaning the primer out (which I really dislike, but it is a fact of life) I started in on some juice.

It did need a little break in time. The first 20 minutes made me think I was probably going to pull out another 2.0 ohm and toss this one. But, when it started to work, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a vapor cannon like a 306. Granted, I do have it on a fresh off the charger batt, but this is producing big lung fulls of warm vapor and whisps of vapor climb my face or drift away from my mouth as I'm about to pull the drag out of my mouth and in to my lungs. I'm exhaling big plumes.

I'll be buying a few of these. Assuming the next ones are like the first, I'll be buying them on a regular basis. If they were a no-primer, I'd probably make them the only atty I buy.The one I'm vaping right now performs every bit as well and perhaps even somewhat better than the cisco it replaced.

Well, color me impressed and give some kudos to smoke tech for this one. I wish I had let the sale price convince me to try two or three.

i really dig the smoktek 510s. i recently switched to the 901 (about 2 months ago) and have only used the smoktek 2ohm-ers. pretty fantastic. quality just as good as the 510's.

ive only ever used joye 510s and smoktek 510s. after i had 2/3 joye's die within a day (one never worked good from the start) i figured if im gonna get low quality control, im gonna pay low prices. out of the half dozen smoktek atty's and 40-50 2.0ohm cartomizers from smoktek, ive had 0 with any issue.

but its all bollocks, im getting an iAtty ASAP!

This one was exactly 2.0 ohms after cleaning before first use.

2nd vaping session with this atty tonight. It's still hitting like a 306. I'm absolutely amazed. In fact, it also acts a lot like a 306, too. -- The 306 users will understand what I mean when I say this, I think: The flavor changes and you start to get a little of that dry atty taste while it still has some juice in the cup. You can hear (not feel, just hear) the juice gurgling a tiny bit in the atty but the flavor changes early just like a 306.

The vapor production is unlike any other 510 I've had recently. I just hit that atty before starting to type the previous sentence and I had to wait a few seconds to be able to see my monitor. If it can completely blot out a 24" monitor at a distance of about 2 1/2 feet, that's an impressive amount of vapor. The juice I'm using is notorious for mass vapor production, but this is a step above any other atty I've dripped this juice in except an LR 306.

I'm a believer. I need to get a few of these to have around.

I clean new atty's as soon as I get new ones. I use my ultra sonic jewelry cleaner for 2 x 3 minute cycles to fully remove the primer. I just use plain water in it. If I'm not going to use them right away, and to prevent rusting, I put a couple drops of unflavored VG in them and then roll them around to ensure total covering. I like the smoktech over the Joye's. I even have a cheap no namer that I like better than the Joye.

The only attys I haven't tried yet are ikens (I hear good things, but never got around to tryingthem out). I've been using cisco pretty much just because they come without primer. I otherwise don't consider them to be the best performers I've tried (though the cisco 306's are top notch in every way as far as I'm concerned). I hate cleaning attys, but I'm all for performance and this smoke tech atty I have is performing extraordinarily well.

I might have to invest in an ultrasound. My wife might even already have one. I'll give that method a try. - My current method is ... unusual.

I modified a broken keurig machine. I modified and attached tubing to the water outlet. That tubing carries hot water from the machine to a small bottle with a bottlecap that is drilled to hold an atty. I run the big mug button three times (about a pint three times). So my attys get low to mid pressure flush with a pint of 191 degree water three times. Then they get blown out and dried a little. Then a few dry burns - then one more keurig rinse. I'll either set the wet attys in a tray by the window to dry, or I'll blow one out really well, dry burn it one more time to clear moisture residue, and vape it.
