While the initial outlay is more than smoking analogs, once you get going I believe the cost per day will drop dramatically. I talked to a guy at work who has been vaping for a year and picked his brain about what he liked and knew so far. I'm sure his knowledge has saved me a lot of cash and headaches. He steered me towards the KR808 and V4L. And now ECF has gotten me more excited about new things to try. That will be the difference, I think, balancing the money saving by vaping versus trying new PV devices.

From my personal experience I strongly do not recommend purchasing a greensmoke, blu starter kit or whatever starterkit you see at the mall. the battery life, vapor production and throat hit are bad.
In my opinion, If you want to save some money, buy 1 EGO usb passthrough, 510 atomizer and a drip tip. With shipping this should cost you around $30-$35. The battery will last you at least 7 hours of heavy vaping and you can charge it much easier with the usb passthrough opposed to a smaller unit that needs a special charging adapter.
This is definitely industry standard.
hope this helps
