On July 26, SmokeTip introduced their new and improved battery. Here is the description.
NEW & IMPROVED BATTERY!
After months of research and testing, we are happy to introduce a new version of our 180mah lithium battery. We have upgraded all of the internal components which will give our batteries more power, more stability, and a much longer life cycle.
They work with your existing SmokeTip cartridges but the new Battery does require a new Wall Adapter & USB Charger. This new charging unit will work with all of your current batteries & the new batteries BUT the new battery must be charged using the new Wall Adapter & USB Charger.

Hello. I have a couple of questions about the new battery.
* How long do I initially charge the battery before first use? Same 8 hours as previous batteries?
* The site mentions I can charge old batteries on the new charger. Does this include the long batteries?
* I have been using my old SmokeTip charger for non-SmokeTip KR808 batteries and it works just fine. Can I use the new charger for my non-SmokeTip KR808 batteries as well?
* Suppose I accidentally put the new SmokeTip battery on the old charger. Will anything dangerous happen, or will it just not charge it?

*Yes - charge time is still the same as prior old style batteries.
*Yes - it does include the 350 batteries also.
*We do not have any information on competitor products so no answer can be given.
*If put on old charger - it just won't charge.

I would like to use the new SmokeTip charger with all of my KR808D-1 batteries. My theory is that since the description indicates the new charger works with all SmokeTip batteries, and since the previous charger was able to charge all my non-SmokeTip KR808D-1 batteries, then the new charger should charge them as well.
But I'm scared to try it. Does anyone know if I can use the new SmokeTip charger to charge my other KR808D-1 batteries?
