I wrote a reply to this rediculous article, but you have to register to leave a reply.
I'm not gonna register to a fear mongering, opinionated website when something this blatantly wrong is published for public consumption.
Probably get spam from them for years.
Kristen Berry is concerned about youth addictions.
She should do an article on refined sugar addiction and the resulting epidemic health crisis.
Stop the Twinkies.
And yet another hysterical woman yelling fire in a crowded room where there is actually no fire, just to protect the precious little children from an imaginary boogeyman concocted by her own paranoia, costing thousands of other lives in the process.

I noticed at the top of the page that there is actually an editor for the Cumming Patch section. What exactly does this editor do? Because if this article is any indication, she certainly doesn't ask questions of her authors to determine if their assertions can be backed up with facts of any sort.

True. The only negative part about setting the record straight with multiple, well-reasoned and researched replies is that it seems most writers, especially hacks who receive no attention for their other work, just get inspired to do another column on the topic.
Just shows the stupidity of the non smoker columnist. If a child that doesn't currently smoke cigarettes picks up vaping e-cigs then I don't know what to tell you...She totally misses the point of E-cigs for people that are addicted to smoking cigarettes.. Oh well she needed something to write about I guess.
These are the types of articles and opinions with no basis in fact that many vapers try to correct at other websites. Forums and articles that put forth these type of disingenuous views and misinformation obviously aren't written to help those seeking a viable alternative to quit smoking nor are they concerned with facts as this piece shows.
So much for writing articles with integrity to help your client/consumers base! C.B.
I was going to put a comment down into the article, but after looking at all the comments, there isn't a need. One word out of my mouth after reading some of them... was "Holy ....!" That Matt guy is hitting people with beer bottles and bar chairs for bumping into him...

If her kid is an analog smoker and picks up e-cigs as a way to stop inhaling smoke, she should thank her lucky stars.
If her kid picks up vaping INSTEAD of experimenting with analogs, again she should thank her lucky stars.
If her kids picks up vaping and then "graduates" to smoking analogs, then, for the preservation of the species, she should go get sterilized. She gave birth to a kid that is dumber than a box of rocks.
