I miss Texas. I still have my smoker, but try finding a good brisket in SoCal... i used to get them for under $2 a lb in Texas, twice that here and lower quality...

You are right. If I could come up with a juice that tastes anything like my mesquite smoked Cajun marinade or super-secret dry rub brisket, the vaping world would forsake all other juices. Yah, it's that good.

There are forums for everything. I'm a member of one for a handheld tablet that I use which stopped production back in 2009.

Never got into BBQ though. Being on the coast, my summers were all about fresh crab and fish. Can't really smoke a crab.

hubby smokes year round. when he does it, he loads it up with every kind of meat..beef, pork, turkey, my hamburger patties, etc. he then seals meal portions in his seal a meal and freezes them. when he is ready for them, he plops the seal a meal bag into boiling water.....presto.....fresh bbq! juicy and delish! of course he makes his own rubs and bastes. great stuff!

Uhm, perhaps you forgot but barbecue season is year round here in Texas my friend Yeah it may get a little chilly outside and some strange white stuff falling from the sky but it never stops me. That odd weather never sticks around for long.
