Smoking Delrin on accident

I have a plume veil clone, and this morning when I went to vape i was too groggy to notice the adjustable delrin bit at the top of the atty was sitting on the coils, and I accidentally smoked some of the delrin. It melted noticeably and the indent of the coils was left as well as some strings of it trailing off. How bad is this for you?? If it helps my build was 26 gauge dual parallel, 6 wraps at .25 ohms. Please help me out im a little rattled by this

Well... I don't know the exact ramifications for inhaling delrin fumes but I'm sure it's not real healthy. I've probably inhaled worse in my time though.

If I were you, I wouldn't let it happen again.

The MSDS on Delrin does point out the release of formaldehyde from burning it, but the quantities you've inhaled are rather tiny... Unless you are feeling a specific side-effect, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you smoked before, you inhaled a lot more than that in your lifetime!

I work in a plastics plant, and have several jobs which run delrin. I can say that you should be perfectly fine from it. I have inhaled huge amounts of smoke from delrin regularly.
