As the topic says, has anyone tried this on the provari v2? Will this work ok? Please let me know if this will work well?
.I use one of those tanks and cut the length down to accept a regular Boge 3.0 Carto and have not had a leak yet, actually a really nice little tank for the cost, but then again I dont have alot to compare it too.
Fermented Ted.....glad to see you got one.
Cool! I'm gonna be ordering one. What's a nicer tank / carto?
I've been looking at some of the options at Big Daddy Vapor... I dig the stainless look. But I'm holding off on any larger purchases until I get back in the wife's good graces... she found the invoice from when I bought the ProVari.![]()
Well, just because they were on a really good sale and I wanted to play around with one and have a tank I could see the liquid in for a little while, I picked up one of these (smoktech 5ml dual coil carto tank) with my last MV liquid order and frankly, I am completely unimpressed with the appearance of the tube plastic.
The entire inside of the tube has tiny/fine scratch marks from end to end, no doubt from the "manufacturing" process. It is basically hazy looking because of all the rubs/scratches on the inside.
There is also a casting "bubble" mark on the outside of the tube.
I can't really complain I guess, heck it was $8. But just mentioning this in case seeing a lot of fine scratches inside your tube would bother you, and assuming the one I got is a representative sample rather than put on sale BECAUSE of its issues. I might be the only person who looks this closely at their vaporware. (I suspect I'm not, though).
Just keep in mind how cheap they are and set expectations accordingly.
I haven't used the tank yet so I can't really speak for its functionality. I did notice how easily the tank slides on (and OFF) the carto, so it makes me appreciate my ACTv4's in this respect, even if I can't see the liquid.
I'll have my own solution for that problem soon, though.![]()
