So, while I've mainly gone to carto's, I barely used any of my atomizers. Started usin the last one I had (just an ego, I believe, got it from TVR) and broke it after debridging trying to get a peice of something out of the ceramic cup. Well, the problem is, I have two atties still. One from backwoods brew, regular 510lr, and one I ordered from ecigexpress I believe. The second is definately a smoktech. Neither one of them have very good flavor, the smoktech has a very stiff draw, and the BWB one gives good flavor for a hit or so then nothing but burnt. Any ideas as to why this may be? My ego atties never were this tempermental, even before debridging. The smoktech seems to have a LOT more wicking material than any of the other atties I've used or seen, and the mesh just kind-of looks draped over the bridge. The BWB one has a decent amount of wick sticking out from under the bridge but nothing crazy. I'm about to just either try a HH357 or go back to ego atties, since it seems like anything but that just gives me burnt taste and sputter.

I am going to out on a limb here and say the problems you are having are directly related to the wicking. Due to the fact that you stated there is a LOT of wicking material, it could be that it requires more juice to get it saturated. I do know from some reviews I have seen in some cases debridging certain attys can adversely affect their performance and cause them to not vape well at all which sounds like could be a possibility as well. For example, the MA306 you definitely do not want to debridge.

I have 2 HH.357's and love them so you get my thumbs up, they are worth every penny IMHO.

Hope this might help :)
