has anyone taken the spike piece out of a 510LR-T style atty (the ones used with tanks) and used it for a drip tip setup? it looks like the arrangement of the coil/etc is different and may be better suited to dripping (no bridge etc) but still has wire mesh around the coil i think... anyone tried it? the spike looks very similar to the ego-c atty spike, i wonder if you could pull it out and put it in an ego-c atty that *someone* may have ruined just the wick on

also, what material do you use to replace a wick on an atty?

To my knowledge if you pull out the spike and wick piece from your atomizer it's kind of like debridging in a way. I know there is a ceramic cup below the coil to catch the juice and it would most likely hold a few drops at a time. The best thing to do is just try it out and if it doesn't work then it's no big loss. Also the wicking material that's in the atomizer is made from fiberglass most of the time. Hope this helped and good luck.
