Hi everyone. This will be the 3rd week that I'm on the Bolt from Smoktech. This is a short review... kinda..

Build wise, no complains really. Solid "pebble-stoned" finish.
Button is as advertized, clickly and really low risk of misfiring.
Looks great with a DCT! Nicely flushed.

Using it with a 18500 ICR battery. Comes with an extender ring for a 18650 option.
Full charge, battery is at 4.1V (without load) and this slowly trickles down as you use it.
I find that on a full day (12 hours), I still have around 3.6-3.8 volts (without load) and it still vapes beautifully.

I use it on a Boge SR (2.8-3.0) cartomizer and still get amazing TH and vapor on a 12mg 70/30 juice.
Now, use it with a Boge LR (2.0-2.2) cartomizer and it will be even more amazing but I find it too much for me.
I always find fruity flavor at high wattage too much for my throat to handle.

Overall, a good solid performer. Button is replaceable with a little work and soldering. Good backup to your more expensive mod or for a person just coming into the PV mod scene.

Now, my next one on the list would be a Provari and I'm looking to let go of the Bolt with all the extras that came with it.

Cheers!

nice write up.

if you can wait or want a slightly more budget option. i heard the Smoktech Vmax (provari copy) is coming out soon. and it has a output of 6v and 3.5A (but some sites listed this a ~5A)

It runs on 2 stacked 3.7V with stepdown.
Not that I'm paranoid about the batteries exploding or something but would hold back and hear what people are saying about the performance. And do not really have to wait too long. Stock is already in nearby.

from what i read, the limit in a stacked device is higher than say a 18650 booster. Vape is more consistent and powerful on mods with stacked batterys, thats why vv diy box mods have so much power. i'm not some pro here but it seems that way. the only thing is everyone is worried it will blow up in your face when you're using it. LOL. but i believe with some good quality batteries it could be safer.
