Hi, Cozzicon!

I just watched the video and looked very carefully at the autopsy results. Do you only have two pieces of "software" inside you cartos? The polyfill and the sock? You see, I took three of my clear dual-coil cartos apart and they have that little "diaper" or "blanket" wrapped around the heating coil. Yours don't seem to have it.

The point is, all of my "diapers" were burnt all the way through; I rinsed them to get rid of juice stains. The polyfill was intact, the socks were intact, but the diapers were badly charred after only a couple of refills. And I'm not the only one.

So I would like to know if your dual-coil cartos are constructed differently? Mine have two coils, two socks, two diapers and a polyfill wrap.

It appears that smoke tech either has revised their manufacturing process or that the clear and the steel tubes are different. I've cut up quite a few steel ones and they all have a paper-like material wrapped around the coils and not a filler-like material. Also, there is no straw. The clear ones have two pieces of plastic tube/straw inside for what I've seen in a couple of videos. The steel ones I've cut up do not.

Katya,

Sorry for being late with a response. I appear to have a revision. I'll autopsy one that has not been used and take another look.

Hi Michael,

I thought I already asked this question (and maybe I did in another thread), but in your review you are using what you call an eGo "clone" battery. I have looked and looked for a battery like yours or similar and I cannot find one. Would you please share where you found yours? I really like the blue LED!

Thanks in advance,

Steve

I purchased that battery at my local vapor store, Kalamazoovaporshop.com

I know there are other companies carrying them. But don't know which.

As always- shop around....

Edit: Also... sorry for the delay I've been in bed sick with a bug for two days. On the mend now.

Nice review! :) That one dual was the only one I had with metal shavings...all the others have been free of debris. Here's the shot again:

I still vape them (although I get the clear ones whenever I can) and I still love them. I just look inside the blacks ones really closely before I fill them up. ;)
