Having had IBTanks, you'll likely be disappointed in the quality of the Smoktech pyrex DCT tanks. The end caps are fixed and can not be removed for easy cleaning of the tanks, and the o-rings can not be replaced. The o-rings are not as good of quality, so the tank may slide too easily off of the carto if you're not careful.

Other than the above cons, these are a decent gateway into novice-level cartotanks. My :2c:

A much better option, since you already have cartomizers for your IBTanks, would be the Smoktech polypropylene DCT tanks ($8.55) from My Vapor Store. These have removeable end caps, are safe for all flavors of e-liquid, and with better quality o-rings which prevent the tank from sliding off the carto.

That link isn't working for me so I can't tell which version of Smok tank you're looking at but I've had very good results with these"

Smok Tech Pyrex DCT

I've several of these in the small and large size from different vendors and the o-rings are tight and haven't failed me yet. I use them alongside my IBTankeds. Since then end caps are fixed they're essentially disposable once the o-rings give out, though.

The Smok Tech pyrex tanks can indeed be disassembled, and the o-rings can be replaced. I've done two of mine.

I have two and the end caps are not removable on mine. Looking at the Smoktech website for the Pyrex DCT V1 and V2, it says they are non detachable. Not saying you couldn't dig out the O-ring but it would be entertaining to say the least.

Pyrex DCT V2

I've removed the caps on two of my 5ml Smoktech tanks, and removed the glass tubes. Maybe they aren't intended to be, but Desert Vapes sells the o-rings that go on the ends of the pyrex tube as well as the ones that seal the carto.

I think china buye sells them completely disassembled for even cheaper

I will say this the one thing i love about them is the bottom and how the flanged carto kinda pops into place, i have never had a issue removing a tank.

The ibtanks i have had the problem of the tank just spinning and spinning

But with the ibtanks you can hot box it , thats what i call it, when you switch out cartos with out dumping any juice out, and they come with extra orings and replacing the orings keeps it from spinning.

But also my colored end caps are chipping and my dct tanks havnt chipped

removing my post as I thought this was the one with thin lines to see your juice and housed with a metal/colored outside that looks like vivi nova, not the one that looks more like an iclear in the above pic and previous pic

arotank_4cols.jpg
