Smoktech redux ce5 probs.

Ordered a ce5 redux to vape in my ego-t's while I keep my DCT on my twist, however even with the 2.4 ohm replacement heads they still seem to burn out quick and my ego's are rated at 3.7 volts, 4.2 straight off the charger but my 2.5 ohm DC carto's work perfect, I don't get it. Help plz.

make sure u always have enough juice so the wicks don't dry out. also make sure the head is screwed on tightly. I check/tighten mine when I take it apart to clean. I exclusively use those and have been (knock on wood) using the same head for months. other than that I done know what could be wrong

I have a redux as well,and the 2 heads it came with died on me within the first week, I am using replacement heads now, and haven't changed one in almost a month. Maybe there is something with the originals that came with it?

I ordered some Redux CE5's to go with my eGo and after reading a bit here, I cancelled that order and ordered a couple of Evods, instead.

ut oh, i just got 2 of em in, hadnt fooled with em till just now. took one out of package, original head in it was loose, tightened it up,filled it will give it a try. hope its not a rerun of the nano's i bought.

update, let it sit for about 5 mins, it wouldn't fire. so i emptied it, pulled the head didn't see anything obvious, put it back on stem, tried it again with out tank on it and it started firing. so put it all back together refilled and it seems to be working fine.
my problem with all this is, this is the second product brand new, that ive had to work on before i can get it to work. i wanna vape not work on brand new stuff. i like to tinker, but like it to be by my choice. checked the other new one,haven't filled it as i don't need another filled right now,but at least it does fire. more to be revealed, as it progresses, have to try and contact vendor on this one too i guess.

This wick is burnt right? Anyway, I just moved it over and its working fine at 3.2v. I guess the atomizer burns stronger at first, idk.
