PureSmoker has these listed on their site as coming soon. Looks like there will be more options in the near future. I don't know if it will compete with the VAMO (or others), but maybe it will be competition and make both products even better. That would be a win for us anyway.

I'm not about to suggest that anyone give up their beloved PV. But remember...backups for your backups
I'm not about to trade in my ProVari, Legacy, and soon-to-be VAMO (if fasttech ever delivers it). But heck I may look into it for another one in the near future. I know PS has always stood behind what they offer anyway.

Be sure you know what brand of batteries to buy if you decide to get an SID. I have read more then one review about theses having issues with certain batteries fitting inside the tube. I have no idea how hard the was trying to force the battery in there or anything else about it... More then one review has said it has damaged their battery and caused a short. I am sure there is some sort of user error involved, I just don't know how much.
