is it worth getting the kick for this ?never had one

Worth it? I dunno, it's a matter of perspective. Are you a set it and forget it vaper? Or do you constantly like to fiddle with voltage. For the former it might be, for the latter, I'd say almost certainly not. Personally I love the kick telescope combo.

Just remember to completely take apart and clean your Telescope regularly... any mod really that has threaded parts for that matter... If you don't, the electrical connections that are made through these parts diminishes over time due to corrosion and dirt that get into all of the threads nooks and crannies...

While there are better cleaning oils for metals... I just use WD-40 with a couple q-tips and paper towel. I spray a little WD40 on the q-tip and go to town on all of the threads ( after I take mine all apart ) and then wipe up the excess with the paper towel. I leave a bit on the threads themselves so they operate smoothly.

I start on the day I receive mine and then somewhere between weekly to monthly ( depending on my mood )... Also I do it anytime I suspect a decrease in battery performance even with fully charged batteries.
