TFV4 is not a starter tank (it's very finicky and tends to leak like hell for a lot of people). If you're just getting into rta's then you may be better served trying something else.
If you do the TFV4 then the R1 is the basic single-coil rebuildable deck (comes with one), the R2 is the dual coil rebuildable (sold separately).

I bought the tfv4 as my first rebuildable. The b&m near me said if I could learn to wick it then I could wick just about anything. I've had it for almost two weeks and the only leak I had was with the stock coil because I forgot to prime it before filling the tank so I couldn't vape it right away.

With the rba deck I watched some YouTube videos, wicked it and soaked it before filling the tank and then vaped it right away, no leaks on the first try or others after. The first wasn't perfect, would dry hit when chain vaping.

My b&m was a bit surprised, seems like others aren't as lucky Haha.
