It is a 1.5 ohm with 2 holes near the bottom. I am getting a little visible vapor but its tasting burnt. I spoke to the shop I got it at and they said it sounded like the carto burned out(after a few hours use?). They told me they would replace the carto but its a 45 minute drive and I have some at home so im just going to pick up a protank at the local smoke shop so ill have a back up from now on. Ill let you know how a new carto works out

Get a new cartomizer. Repoke the holes gently (with a paperclip) so the polyfill has enough wiggle room for the juice to flow in. Saturate the cartomizer (don't know how you do it, but if it's filling from the top, fill to the sides, not the middle, about 20 drops, a couple of drops, then wait for it to be absorbed, then repeat), stick it the tank, fill the tank on it's side with juice avoiding the middle of the carto, secure the cartomizer to the tank, take a few dry pulls (vape with no power) to see if there are any more bubbles that are visible with each drag, if no more bubbles, vape with power starting at 3.4 volts, then increase as desired. Take light pulls/draws until the cartomizer is broken in.

Vape no higher than 3.8 volts.

You have a dual coil cartomizer rated at 1.5ohms (two 3.0 ohm coils in parallel)

UDCT = tank with a locking ring for flanged cartomizers (cartomizers with wings)
Cartomizer = metal tube that has polyfill and coils

Hope that helps.

Sounds like a dual coil. I wouldn't use those for eGos personally. If you do, crank it up to 4.8v because in essence it is a 3ohm coil. I would use single coils if you keep using the carto tank. I think 2.2 ohm is the best for twists due to device limitations.

I am using a mini Protank 2 right now. It is working amazing on my Smok Winder 1300s. Quality control can be iffy looks wise, but they perform perfectly. If you taste dry hits, remove the "flavor wicks".

Unlikely but possible. What sort of cartos are they? I seem to remember something about a bad batch of Boges, but I can't remember the details. Did you prime them yourself? It's much more likely to be a priming problem. A well primed carto in a tank is much better than a clearomizer imo!

Tried with a new carto and it was still burning so I either have bad luck or got a bad box. Gonna buy a manger protank and forget cartos for now.
