I didn't like the results using the beauty ring and protank 2 (wasn't getting a good air flow mixture). I have been keeping the tank lightly screwed on but fwlt unsafe So I tightened everything down and took a sharpe marker to mark a spot on the ring to have a Carb hole on the opposite side of the on button. Drilled a hole, I am satisfied now .

If I am getting too much air I just choke the hole with my index finger. I use my thumb to activate the battery cause the white led is annoying to me
