SmokTek Bolt not working.

My Bauway 510-N 18650 mod stopped working, i assume it is the switch, but haven't checked it with a DVM yet.
Anyway, bought a smoktek Bolt from MyVaporStore since they offered the bare unit with 18650 extender, I have
batteries and charger, so I didn't need those items. I put a Kanger cartomizer that was attached to my Piper VV
ego usb passthrough and the unit seemed to work, although the vapor wasn't great. Later in the day the unit stopped
working, so I assumed the switch had broken since I tried a fresh battery and another cartomizer. Today at work
I put a meter on the 510 connector and fired the switch. The meter measured 4.169 volts, so the unit is working.
One thing I noticed was that the center pin on the 510 connector appears to be larger than the center pin on my
ego passthrough and my ego batteries. So my conclusion is that the cartomizer center pin is not making contact
with the 510 connector, verified with multimeter. Anyway to correct this issue? Also tried prying the center pin up
a little on 510 connector, still no joy. Any advice would be appreciated. I also tried a Boge and smoktek
carto with no luck.

Sure sounds like you are on track since the bolt is outputting the voltage needed. I've had a few cartos (yes boge-even though they are the "best) that have the center pin too far up into the threads. I just stick a small pin in there and wiggle it out a tad. Sounds like that may be your case??

My problems though are usually caused by switching cartos from diff devices. Some of mine tend to push the center pin up too far while others seem to just barely touch.
