While early versions of her had her as the daughter of Batman and Catwoman (an even early character with the name was a villain before being revamped and renamed The Tigress), the strange multiverse of DC comics recast her as the unstable vigilante daughter of a crime boss who vows revenge for the murder of her family. The books still have her mostly associated with Batman, but modern day TV viewers may recognizer her mostly as a one-time protoge of Oliver Queen in "Arrow."
