Smoov battery won't charge..?

I have had multiple smoov batteries, lost a few, sold a few, and kept one. Yesterday, I noticed that when I unscrewed the very bottom where the charger is, the little tiny thin aluminum thing wasn't there. I'm not sure what it was, but now my vape won't charge. It charges for about a minute, then stops. I've tried three different chargers, and none have worked. What is that little aluminum thing that's missing, and can I get it fixed?
