I assume, because it uses 3-18650's in series, the voltage is around 11 or 12 volts when fully charged, so that needs to be accounted for in any coil ohm calculation, correct? Thanks

Think the volts was much higher, know the T8 is around 14 volts, which is a dual. God looked good, but 3 batts!!! damn, need 6 30 amp continuous batts just to have one swap out, frak, ain't to bad with the duals on the sigelei 100, since can get by on 20 amp continuous, and had 2 sets of lg's already. 
30 amp continuous are hard to come by, paid fraking $19 apiece for the last two at the local B&M, in anticipation of the T8 arriving. And another thing, who the frak is going to use an ego threaded atty on a 200 watt box mod??? Still they do look kewl.

Not entirely correct. When you set your wattage, the chip will automatically read your resistance and adjust your voltage to reach your desired wattage. If you look at the Ohm's Law calculator on Steam Engine you will see that you can set your resistance and your wattage. It will then show you what voltage is required to reach said wattage.

yeah saw the Xstar a bit ago, after I found some VTC5's that is. Hopefully have enough batts for now and can wait till Sony's new plant gets up to steam.

Cloupor has since changed theirs from 14 volts to 7.6 volts. After the release
Apparently Cloupor has a firmware revision that will limit output to 7.6 volts, I asked the vendor about this, and he said the one's being tested were pushing over 9 volts, so I'm putting that into the, we shall see like tomorrow when it arrives, bag.
I hear ya. I would really like to see the T6 and the T8 on a scope.
