SMY TC 170

Just built this dual Clapton chimney coil build on my silverplay v2 sitting on top of my SMY 170

How do you do the wicking on this one?

I wrap it around the outside of the coils

There actually pretty cheap, look great, was thinking about one but am attracted more to the snow wolf or the sigelie 150tc

Funny you mention those two mods since I just bought both this week so I have a back up. I am using the Snow Wolf & still have the Sig in the wrapper. To be honest I'm considering selling the SN & returning the Sig since my SMY mini does everything just as good as the Snow Wolf & feels better built as well as fits better in the hand. I don't know if I just got lucky with my Mini but it has made me a fan of SMY.

Is it the 170 TC you have? It does look a great mod,

Snow wolf looks so slick like an iPhone and the sigelie is basically a pedigree product

I use ipv4s currently but looking for a second high powered TC mod

Nope, I have the SMY 60TC Mini. I bought the Sig & the SN so I had a dual battery TC mod. I have the LE version of the SN which is nice but I prefer the way SMY puts a radius on all the corners of the mod vs the flat boring edge of the SN or any other box mod. Feels better to me in my hands.

I've seen reviews of the 60w it had a good write up. The 170 has two 18650's I believe? I keep getting drawn to the xcube2 not sure if the Bluetooth sells that to me on its own lol

Got my 170W TC a few days ago.
Wow! This thing is BIG! I need to get used to it. LOL
Dual batteries, nice cool screen and all that. Works just fine and batteries can be charged onboard so no need to replace them too often.
Have used it in VW mode only so far and will do TC soon.
Surprised to not see any joule mode for this mod and wonder if it can be upgraded?
How about you guys? What do you think of this?

The Mini 60 doesn't have Joules either & the temp control work's perfectly. I upgraded my Mini as soon as I got it, SMY had a link on their Facebook page with a tutorial.
