I work on the 4th floor of a building on a no-smoking campus. Talk about not missing the ordeal it used to be to have to go outside for a smoke break! But I find now that I have this wonderful new life, I've been carrying around my small iTaste and have been sneaking quick vapes in the rest room! At first I was paranoid about smoke alarms, then thought, Duh, this is not smoke. I'm still a little wary of a cloud billowing out when I open the door so I try to keep things light and airy and wave everything away like a madwoman before I exit.
Please tell me anyone else has done something like this and make me feel a little less psychotic!

When I worked for a hospital (tobacco-free campus), I would stealth vape in the locker room hidden behind a row of lockers. Co-workers that I trusted and knew that I vaped would often tell me that the locker room had never smelled so good before.

I still stealth vape when I go to the cinema. I always sit in the back row. I wait until all the lights go out. I do a double inhale technique, which when I eventually exhale there is little or no vapor seen. What no one see's is no one's bizzness.

I keep a tank of high nic on hand for stealth when necessary. As said above, smaller hits and hold it in and virtually nothing comes out.

I tested my smoke alarms at home with vapor and it does set them off if you blow a cloud at it. It takes a lot though. Stealth style vaping will never set off an alarm.

I vape pretty openly in the Texas Medical Center, we've a friend in Neuro ICU and in his pod I just take it out of my pocket hit it a couple times and back to the business at hand, everyone's pretty aware that it's not smoke.

Funny I did get pulled over by a zealous Suburban Speed Trap Cop, he wanted to know WHAT EXACTLY (with tone that it's an illegal substance I've got in there) sucking on, and I explained, and while he didn't take a hit that I offered, he sure thought what a great idea (and puuuhleeese tell your buddies back at the station, while I don't mind visiting with an officer I had stuff I had to do yah know?*lol*) So that was "fun" *rolly eyes*

but for the most part not one person, has ever said a word, but then again I tend to get where there wouldn't be an "in your face" moment with vaping, I was a pretty "respectful smoker" too though, but I find that a few hits here and there, and I don't need the traditional "smoke break" which is great...

I'll have to see how it goes at TMC... I've been spending a lot of time a MDA since November. (Found out my spouse has colon cancer and she's nearing the end of her treatment now) We're down there around twice a week. I haven't had anyone say anything to me while vaping in the parking garages or outdoors, but if we're stuck inside for a while I'll stealth to get by... I figure there's no need to draw unwanted attention by vaping inside of a cancer center... :)
