ok, here is a look at the prototype . im not happy with the welds , so im going with a one piece cast, for a more seamless look for the atty connector. runs on 16340 880 mAh 3.6v battery...x2 on the 5v. the 3.6v runs at 4.2 volts on a full charge, and the 5v is about 5.5/5.7 volts on a full charge. you will be able to pick from 4 or 5 colors..not sure witch ones yet. it starts out as a 901, but will come with an 801 adapter. i will be working on the other adapters this week.

Jaybird,

That is pretty cool. I have a LV and I like the placement of the button. I see the GLV is very similar. Looks like it is going to be a lot more professionally done than the LV. Eventhough I love my LV....I would never get another one. Why? Because it is constructed in a way that if anything happens to the switch...you're screwed. Before mass producing the GLV make sure to make it in a way that the switch can be replaced by the user without needing to solder....if not it will be an inferior product like the SD and the LV where you have to send it in to the supplier every time you need to change the switch.

Does the GLV have a master on/off switch and does it have a LED?

the GLV will be easy to fix,..no on/ off switch tho. as far as button replacement , the GLV button will be easy to replace. this is a very simple design, and almost water proof:thumb:, ill show pic very soon of the button assembly .

Hey Jaybird,

Got any better idea as to when these will be ready to order? I am getting antsy about buying my next mod and you are one of my two picks!!

Many thanks!!
i should have the finished product in my hand this week, and will start a pre-order next week sometime. should take about 2 weeks for the first batch to come in. im going to stop the pre-order at around 100 or so, and then open it back up after a week. after that i should have plenty in stock .

Looks nice :)

If it's sealed that well, won't it turn into a
pipe-bomb if the lithium battery goes kablooey?

I love the waterproof idea, but maybe a plug somewhere
designed to blow out on pressure would be a good idea :)
it will be able to vent out the bottom of the atomizer connector, if ...god forbid anything should happen. so instead of going kablooey, it should take off like a bottle rocket....im just kidding, these will come with protected batteries.:D
