Had a cold but about the time I thought I was over it, I began my vaping journey. I'm blowing my nose a heck of a lot. A day of nonstop nose blowing followed by a day where it slows down but then the next day it starts all over again. Thinking I may need to pull together some cash to invest in tissue stocks.

Then there's the sneezing. I start to associate the vigorous 4 or 5 sneezes multiple times each day with having just vaped but then I'll go to bed, sleep a few hours and wake myself up sneezing so I think ok..nothing to do with vapor...I was asleep when it happened!

Is this just the head cold from hell or could it be pg or vg or the combo of both? Anyone else experience this?

I'm suffering with almost the same symptoms right now. In my case, I think it's a combination of allergies and dry nasal passages being irritated by vaping.

I've been vaping for about 9 months now and occasionally had a sneeze or two brought on by an inhale, but nothing like what I am going through right now. It's like a hellish head cold with sneezing fits. It's not fun and you have my sympathy.

Claritin works for me, you might want to try one (assuming you are not allergic to any of the ingredients), if the symptoms ease, you know the chances are that vaping is not the underlying cause.

Now saying all that, it is possible that you are having some reaction to the PG or VG in your juice. The only way to know for sure is eliminate one, see if the symptoms change (or the triggers) and go from there. From what I have seen and read on here, most people tend to be sensitive to the PG rather than the VG although some describe a 'heaviness' in their lungs when vaping a higher VG juice.

Of course taking medical advice on an internet forum might not be the best thing to do, so I would always recommend having a chat with your doctor.

Your congested from quitting smoking is my guess. Whenever someone quits their sinuses and lungs everything starts repairing itself. It also starts running and congestion which leads to a nasty cough for a while. Your going to feel great because you quit but miserable because you quit. I feel for you. I went through it about 2 months ago.
Congrats on quitting and you'll get better in a little bit. Vape on friend.

I sneeze every time i use a coil that gets too hot. Basically whenever i burn juice instead of vapourising it i sneeze.
(It's strange that smoking a tube of paper filled with leaves and chemicals never made me sneeze).
Whenever i get like that it's pretty much instantly after vaping, i've never had a delayed reaction.
You could have an allergy to something in the juice, the only way to tell is to experiment with the PG / VG / flavours.
There are worse things than being forced to test loads of different juices.
Good luck.:)

Thanks for the replies. I'll mess around with the process of elimination to see if I can pinpoint a trigger and double up on my water intake to stay hydrated.

When I get up in the morning, I think it might be over but after moving around making coffee etc., my body starts to wake up and my nose starts running again. So, maybe it is purging itself from stopping cigs.

Being forced to test different juices will actually be a good punishment. :) Maybe I'll find my ADV. Claritin is worth a shot too. Good suggestion.

Even with these symptoms, I can feel a difference in my lungs. I can breathe deeper without causing myself to cough. Not willing to go back to cigs. Must vape on!
