I just placed an order for a snow wolf 200w v1.5 so I thought hmm. I wonder if there is a v2.0(of course after I made the purchase). And I guess the new version is coming out with a bigger nicer screen. But I didn't see anything else that's changing with the device. I'm hoping to get a few quick responses to help me decide whether or not to cancel my order and just wait until December to make the purchase.

If all they are going to change is the screen, I wouldn't wait for it. I might wait for these to drop in price but not just a screen upgrade.

Hmm, didn't even think to look at whether an addy would sit flush on it. They do seem to hang of a little bit. Has anyone found that to be a problem with the sw?
I understand and I've been in similar situations many times. Usually I regret not having pulled the trigger. If you're spending your last vape penny of the year, you might want to wait otherwise just let it arrive and enjoy it.

That's true, I've been eyeballing a few devices and decided to go big or go home i guess. I was debating between the sigelei 150w TC, the IPv4, and the snow wolf. So I decided I would go with more power and the ability to use titanium. From what I've read, the sig and the IPv4 don't have the ability to use titanium wire.
I have the Special Edition with the laser etchings, it's a great box and the tiny bit of tank overhang is not a functional problem by any means! BTW I got a Tardis wrap for it so I call it Bad Wolf!

Haha that's awesome. I wanted ask about nickel vs titanium. Everywhere I'm reading people are saying nickel releases bad fumes or what not. So I figured titanium is the way to go. Since you already have one I guess I should ask what do you use on your mod?
I use the TF-V4 tank and I just got the TF-N2 Air Core coils for it yesterday! They're nickle and I don't notice anything funky, but it takes a tankful to break in, like most coils.
Ok cool, so one other question. Sorry I have so many. But I have a subtank mini which I've been using with my kbox kit. Could I use that with the sw?

how can we identify legit mods from clones? are there clone mods for snow wolf?
I had the Snow Wolf 1.5, there isn't a specific mode for Ti. As with most (if not all?) TC mods you can run Ti but without a specific mode for Ti wire you will set it about 100 degree's less. The SN is an excellent box regardless, I don't think you can loose either way.
I find myself using regular vw mode from 25 to 50w, thats all i need really to get a good vape... As of now doing 25 watts @ .65 ohms and the battery life + vapor + flavor production is more than enough

okay means you can fire titanium wire as well? how about stainless steel?
I never fired anything but Ni200 but my understanding is that yes it will work with Ti. I've read on here that a few people are using Ti with the caveat that the temp is set about 100 degree's lower. I haven't heard of anyone using SS yet.
