As the sun starts to set on this fine day I have come to the conclusion that we will NOT be getting out of the house today. I probably won't be getting out of our driveway for several days since we seriously can't shovel the entire thing!

My son just emailed me again. I don't know why he doesn't just call me. I think I know why...lol...he was screaming at me on the phone last night telling me it was ridiculous...he is stuck now in Baltimore...works in Tampa...commutes on the weekends to Baltimore. He is just frustrated. Hasn't been able to fly out since Monday. He did say this in his recent email. "I ventured out for a few mins." Dope...he does not have a 4x4....that is what he gets for buying one of those fancy cars. Jeez...like I can do anything about it. Told last night to just sit, chill out by the fireplace, drink some wine and just chill. He won't run out of wine...lol....he has a wine fridge that keeps it a perfect temperature (we bought it for him one xmas)......so the saga continues for the Atlantic region. Hopefully, it will be done and over with. Phil was right....6 more weeks of winter...ugh. We here in Michigan had 8 inches but it is blowing around so bad right now. Going to get a book and chill by our fireplace.

We only got another four inches overnight... not bad at all! (Amazing how snow amounts become relative following a massive snowfall!)
Got notice today that UPS won't be making deliveries to me for a bit. LOL - Oh well, I guess trudging up a fifth of a mile snow logged driveway carrying packages isn't in their job descriptions! I can't blame them! It isn't something I really want to do either.

I was surprized to see my mail delivered today. It actually happened before I woke up a 8am.
Normal times are around 11am-2pm.
Now the streets have over a foot in them and my alley isnt even plowed, so where it connects to the street, it is plowed in with the snow bank. About 4 1/2 to 5 foot.
I will have to take some pics, just to prove myself that I can't ship out today, LOL!!!
