I am looking for a good place to buy it, and I have stumbled upon this site.

So is this a good/the right wick material? they also sell the 635, this stuff is fairly expensive but if you do the math you are getting it a fair amount cheaper buying it this way than from a vendor. At least for the 500($100 for 2 square feet) ... the 635.. sheeesh.. Over $200 is the minimum order.. and its only a square foot... lol. ALTHOUGH you can get... a WHOLE INCH for $10! xD

I got mine from ebay, it was $7.50 for 3"x3" with free S&H.

If I'm not mistaken, 2 sq ft from the same source would be about $60.

But afaik that is the proper stuff. #500 316 SS

So far for me thought #400 has worked fine, so I don't think I'll be paying the extra for #500 or #635 myself. Ok, maybe some #635 to try it

google the mesh company out of the UK, they are reliable and reasonably priced, I dont believe they carry 635 though but they have 400 and 500.

$20 for 1 square foot of #500 isn't bad. Cheaper than the ebay seller I got mine from.

The 500 from okc was 17$ or 18$ shipped to my door for a 12"x12" sheet
