I've been wanting the Joye 510-T for a month now. I FINALLY was able to order it, as a birthday present for myself. I guess I was so excited to order it that I ordered the regular 510. I found the black tanks with a different company and ordered those. So, I went back to look at my 510T order and low and behold...I freakin' ordered the wrong dang thing. Tried to change my order but it was already in processing 2 hours later and couldn't be changed. (exceptional service that would normally be appreciated) Tried to contact them through the form and it stated that there may be a delay in returning tickets until the 6th. SO, my order will surely be shipping with the wrong thing (completely and totally my fault) and it states on their website No Returns. Great, just great. I'm so bummed.

dang it replied before I was finished... what I was trying to say if you got the 510 starter kit it should have reg atty and some carts, then just order a 510 t atty and you can see which you like best...

I'm not sure which company your talking about. I ordered from LiteCig. I've had excellent experiences with them in the past. I've never made a mistake on an order before, so I've never had to deal with trying to return something. I'm going to keep it though and do what the other poster told me I could do.

No problem - just get a 510-T tank atty at Cignot.com or elsewhere. And if I was you I would be happy to have normal 510 batteries that can use normal 510 chargers and PCC cases rather than the 510-T batteries which for some reason can only use their own charger. Somebody fried an Ego on a 510-T charger so it's possible real 510-T batteries and chargers or reverse polarity or in some other way fundamentally incompatible with normal 510 batteries.

Ok, so the 510T batteries can't be charged in a regular 510 charger? Just making sure because I did buy some extra batteries. They are the Mega 510T auto batteries. If that is the case then I won't be using them and will need to get a 510T charger.

But the regular 510 batteries work on the 510T atty's right? Sorry I'm a newb as you can see.

Technically, I'm not a newbie, I've been vaping for almost 2 years. I've only ever had the RN4072, so many of those I can't count. I'm tired of the leaking. I am a newbie as far as all the technical stuff goes, so thanks for your patience.

According to the Cignot website (trusted supplier), the 510 T batts can be charged on the regular 510 charger. DO NOT charge regular 510 batts on a 510 T charger!

And atomizers and cartomizers will work on either of them - they just care about getting power and they don't even care about polarity.

Some other notes

drip tips should only be used on manual battery + a normal non-tank atty
cartridges can only be used on a non-tank atomizer
cartomizers don't use an atomizer

The 510 T batteries have a higher capacity and improved auto circuitry over the standard 510's. A 510 manual batt is 150 mah, a 510 auto batt is 180 mah and the 510-T is 220 mah with the mega-T 280 mah. If you can charge a 520-T on a regular 510 charger then I seriously doubt there is a polarity difference between the two. Most likely the t charger provides a more aggressive charge and pushes the standard batts beyond their normal charge limit.

When you get your t charger make sure you label it clearly so you don't mix them up.

Great news and good luck with the new kit! Remember though if you fint the tank system doesn't work for you the regular 510 attys and cartos will work on the t batts just like any other 510 batt.

Did you get a manual battery with your kit? You should be happy for a while with your order, but when you're looking to accessorize, try getting a manual battery and 510 drip tip.
