So bummed

I finally decided on the setup I want to get, an ego twist with a protank mini and maybe an evod tank to try out. I figured I'd check out the new/only vape shop in town and pick it up local so I had it right away and also support my local shop. Not only did they not carry the ego twist, they also didnt have either tank system. The person working the counter couldn't even tell me what kind of clearomizer they carried. Needless to say i walked out dissatisfied. Looks like i will be ordering online. Anyone have suggestions for a good online retailer? Been researching what i wanted for 2 weeks straight, to the displeasure of my wife, and was getting really anxious to get my setup and start vaping. Looks like a few more days.

If you want to buy within the US, Mt. Baker Vapor should still be running a 30% off on all eGo/Joye products, believe they have Twists in stock. As far as the Protank mini, don't recall where I last saw them in stock, try MyFreedomSmokes, was browsing there the other night and think they may have a few..also they carry the Davide mini, which is similar and uses the same coils. MBV also has the Evods for a great price, think they're about $4 last I looked, I need to stock up on 'em one of these days..and they're genuine, too.

Hey there, I'm new here and to vaping with twist batteries. I started off with a similar combo. I got my combo for 69.95 at MyVaporStore. Brought a charger, wall adapter, 2 batteries of choice (Vision Spinner or Ego Twist) in a variety of "mahs" and they let you select two tanks that you want. I got myself the evods. Just google Vision Spinner Kit you'll find the place. Cheers.

Nice kit, it lets you mix and match battery and juice delivery systems, quick shipping, good price, and a the products in the kit are good quality. Wish I had known about it when I started.

Just curious, do you know how much hardware they carry in their stores? I just found out that I have a Cignot not far from me.

MARRY ME! I so want to go to one of their stores. If you go to cignot.com there is a link there - I think it's to Cignot.net - that will get you the addies and store phone numbers. Says right there:

"For a more detailed product list, please refer to the "Shop Online" link above and if you plan on visiting us at one of our retail locations, please call in advance to make sure that the specific items you're looking for are available."

You know what you gotta do.

Sorry for the emotional outburst. I started with my first kit from Cignot and Vicki is an amazing vendor. Glad to have seen her branch out into her own 'lil empire from the web site over the years. (I am a Vicki groupie.) Store #3 is in the works!

Don't hate me, but I just looked it up. 8.7 miles from my front door.

And according to the website, store #4 is in the works.

Good kit, and great vendor. Here's the link to that kit: MyVaporStore Spinner/Twist Combo. It's one of the most frequently recommended starter kits.

I've not been to Cignot, but if you are going to drive that far, CigTechs in Hanover Park may be a better choice. They have everything, clearos, RBAs, Tatroe Bases, and juice.

Thanks, I'm kind of in the middle of their B&M area, each store is roughly the same distance from me. The Elmhurst store is a bit closer but not by much.

Maybe I'll make a vape crawl out of it and visit each one someday.

I'd check this kit out from MadVapes: MadVapes Majestic ARO Kit
Awesome price, for an awesome kit. Note, though, that the clearos are plastic (like most other clearos), and you need to watch what liquid you put in them. My uncle bought one of these for his first kit last week, and LOVES it. IMO, the ARO clearos are even better than the Kangers. Smoktech also makes pyrex AROs. I just ordered some at discountvapers.

EDIT: OOPS! They're out of stock on everything but hot pink! Still, it's an AWESOME kit for the price. In lieu of the MadVapes deal, I'd go with the MyVaporStore one that was linked previously.

When I started MyVaporStore is where I purchased my genuine eGo twist 1000 mAh batteries in one of their kits. They are an OEM partner and have an MVS on the bottom piece of the device. This way they know it came from them. Just make sure you request charger that has MVS on it. The blank one takes twice as long to charge. Charging time is usually 3.5 hours give or take.

They have great customer service.
