If you live in the So Cal area you must visit E Cig City in Laguna Beach. Dropped by on my lunch hour yesterday to find the cure for the perfect flavor. After trial and error online and many dollars wasted, I found this place locally. The owner hooked me up big time with the exact flavor I was looking for. He will even do some mixing for you to try before you buy. The shop is awesome and fully stocked with everything you can imagine in the e-cig world. Very classy place right on PCH and the owner knows his stuff. (I know I am probably sounding like a paid advertisement about now) Really, go check it out if you in town.

yea ive been there. cool shop, he's cool. i guess. idk. i didnt get any special treatment though. his daughter let me test out a couple flavors of stuff that was already open on a ego w/ lr 306. no mixing stuff up for me.
after buying a provari from them you would think i would get more attention and upselling of different juices but none of that happen. they were happy to see my daughter dance and play around the store but the owner was distant and i didnt feel the cohesion between buyer and seller, or even the "fellow vaper welcome". yet another buy came in the store and spoke to him about juices and what not and she had his full attention. and she testing out a few juices.
idk im still kinda turned off by the whole experience. i mean cmon....i bought over $200 of stuff and you cant make small talk with me??
ok enough venting. happy your happy. idk if ill return. its too bad too because its one of the only brick and mortar shops in the area and in a beautiful location.

Good to know. Im gonna be in SoCal here in a few weeks from Texas. Cant wait to be back. When I do get there ima be looking for some local shops in or around hemet area! If anyone knows of any please share!

Hey, SOL, welcome to So Cal when you get here. Sorry, there's no store anywhere near Hemet. The only store in So Cal is that one in Laguna Beach, probably a good three hour trip from Hemet. I haven't been there due to the distance.

Unfortunately, yea, Hemet is pretty remote from...everything else.
There's also the Vapor Spot in Culver City, which is a lot more convenient to LAX than Laguna Beach, for anyone traveling to LA who is looking to pick up some gear. Their ecig selection wasn't extensive when I there - mostly eGo and basic 510 kits, limited atty and carto selection - but they're friendly and happy to let you drip any number of the dozens and dozens of ejuices they have on sale. I believe they are moving to a larger location in September, which should really open up the place.
In my opinion, E Cig City is totally amazing. In addition to a great ejuice selection, they had tons and tons of hardware, including mods (Provari and the Vmod, I recall seeing), which means it's a great place to actually touch/handle these things. I had such a positive experience there (despite the 5hr+ round trip on scenic LA/OC freeways) that I'm quite sure I'll be back soon. I tried to get Jason to commit to opening another location up in LA, but he seems to like his current beach paradise.
jonny2hottie, I'm sorry to hear that you felt like you were being giving the cold shoulder there. This was definitely NOT my experience - I was there for maybe 90 minutes sampling juices and talking to other patrons and asking hardware questions, and almost everyone who came in was there for 15+ minutes chatting with Jason or the rest of us milling around. I will say that the folks who initiated conversations/asked a lot of questions (like this newbie!) spent a lot longer chatting with Jason than those who came in, knew exactly what they wanted, and headed for the register.
Finally got a chance to visit this place. I went for the Socal Vaper Club meetup this past saturday. This place is pretty much the vapor's heaven. They carry pretty much everything you'll ever need. Great place for the person just starting out to the serious modder. They have the largest selection of juices i have ever seen. I can wait to go back to sit and chat with the owner. If any of you live in or around the Orange County / LA area, you have to come and check this place out.
If any of you are in , or near San Diego , Vapure is located on Camino Del Rio So. Mostly sell juices , and a smattering of starter kits . But super friendly , and you can try out as many flavors as you want . They will also custom mix some for you , no extra charge . I was there last week , and they had a huge juice sale , going on . 30 ml juices for 5.00 , till supply's ran out . Similar savings on 5 and 10 mil.
I stopped in on Saturday to try out and buy an eGo-T kit. I have been vaping on a Volcano Magma for about 3 weeks now and wanted to step up and get something more powerful. The shop was very clean, organized and looked like it had everything you would need. Jason's daughter helped me out the most, but Jason was very helpful with all of my questions. I also met E-Joker, the moderator here. I wish I would have had more time to hangout, considering people were just showing up for the meetup. I will definitely go back again soon!
