Hey all and thanks for helping if you can, I sure need it. So for starters I've read 100's of pages in this site and its all helped a lil bit but there seems to be no end to my confusion so I thought I would ask direct. I am really interested in the Janty Dura-C. I've found the Dura-C 510 but assume this is not the same thing, or is it? Also I am looking for flavored carts or juice that has zero nicotine. I am after basically a mini huka and all I want is the throat hit with some good flavor but can not find this option anywhere I have looked. I found a website that offers many flavors but saying PG or no PG have no idea what PG is and it doesnt say on the site either. When it comes to refilling the e-cigs, I have read you have to pack them with some kind of filler? Also how do you refill the carts? I've seen use a syringe but you have to grind it down? Drip it into the cart, drip it directly on the atomizer? I know it can't possibly be this hard and I have to be over thinking this process (i hope).
Also every place I go and its been about 5-10 different sites either doesnt offer the Dura-C or is out of stock on the Janty 510. The warranty's all seem to vary and I've also tried to contact them but I get no response. Can somebody point me to a place to buy this item either the Dura-C 510 or the Dura-C and where I can find zero nicotine carts and or explain this refill situation. Thanks for your time, and please excuse the book I just wrote.

Wow, that's more questions that I've ever seen asked.
The task to answer all of them seems a little bit too daunting, but I'll give it a go.

I am really interested in the Janty Dura-C. I've found the Dura-C 510 but assume this is not the same thing, or is it?
Same thing.

Also I am looking for flavored carts or juice that has zero nicotine. I am after basically a mini huka and all I want is the throat hit with some good flavor but can not find this option anywhere I have looked.
Are you having trouble find zero nicotine juices, or some other problem?
Good throat hit often comes at the expense of flavor, from what I have heard.

I found a website that offers many flavors but saying PG or no PG have no idea what PG is and it doesnt say on the site either.
PG is polypropylene glycol, and non-PG might be either VG (vegetable glycerin) or PEG (polyethelene glycol) so you have to find out from where you are ordering what it is that non-PG means.

When it comes to refilling the e-cigs, I have read you have to pack them with some kind of filler?
Are you sure you've really read this forum as much as you say?

The cartridges come with filler and you can wash them and reuse.
You can also buy blank ones with no juice that you can fill yourself, which I prefer.

Or you can buy various things to refill them with your own filler.
There are many threads on that subject, and many opinions on what you should use.

I have not bothered with that, nor do I ever expect to, but who knows.
:)

Also how do you refill the carts?
Check out the video by Spikey in the introduction to vaping thread.
It is a thread that is stickied at the top of this subforum.

And you can refill cartridges using many techniques, all of which have their followers.

I've seen use a syringe but you have to grind it down?
No, you don't have to grind it down, I haven't done that to mine.

But some people do because they don't want to get jabbed.
And some people do because they don't want to snag filler while pushing the needle down the side.

Drip it into the cart, drip it directly on the atomizer?
Dripping into the cartridges is one way to refill a cartridge, although not that efficient.

It is what you want to do if you are topping off instead of refilling.
And it is also a good way to refill if you use a straw modification, or some other technique.

I know it can't possibly be this hard and I have to be over thinking this process (i hope).
It isn't hard, just confusing at first.

Can somebody point me to a place to buy this item either the Dura-C 510 or the Dura-C and where I can find zero nicotine carts and or explain this refill situation.
Try looking through the subforum for specific models.
There are sticky threads in there that have a list of 510 suppliers.

As far as juice goes, zero nicotine is available from many suppliers as well.
Try looking through the E-liquid reviews subforum for various suppliers.

Thanks for all the answers really appreciate it. Right after you posted this I found the video section and it answered the filling up or topping off questions, also the changing of the filters. It also explained the mods to do so as you did also. I think I have the refilling and changing of the filters down. Now if I could find a good place to order this stuff would be great. 1 more ? for you (facepalm) I know lol. I found candy oil that is suggested as a filler for the carts but it did not elaborate if that had to mixed with something else or just dirctely used to refill the carts, any idea? Sorry to ask so much I'm a nub at this and just trying to find my way.
Thanks again.
What do you use to fill yours up? Fluid wise.
Where do you buy your products?
Had to sneak those last 2 ?'s in hehe thanks.

Both carry the Dura C, and both are good suppliers with excellent customer service.

many places that carry liquid carry it in a no nic strength, and the bulk of the suppliers on this forum carry liquid.
I've purchased liquid from Totally Wicked, ELiquidPlanet, Vapor4Life, Puresmoker, and Alternasmoke.... all excellent suppliers.

The candy oils you are finding suggested here are either Loranns or Bickford. Both are mixed with either flavorless eliquid (for nic strength) or PG, VG, and a bit of distilled water for them who have gone nic free and wish to make their own liquids. Check the DIY section of the forum for more information on mixing your own liquids.

I'm going to suggest to you the same thing I often suggest - jump in. Get some gear in your hands, at the lower end of your price range, and experience vaping first hand. Once you've got the gear in your hands, so much of what you are reading is going to click - because now you've got a common frame of reference.... you are also going to find that your wants will change as you experience vaping, and nobody can tell you (you don't even know yourself, at this point) which direction they're going to change to. But, again, you're not going to know which direction you want to go in until you've experienced vaping.

But, by all means, continue to read, absorb, and ask questions....we were all new to vaping once, and are glad to share our experiences and the little details of our own journeys.

Welcome to the beginning of your journey.

If you want good throat hit, definitely stick with a manual switch PV like the 510 or Dura-c. But there is a connection between throat hit and nicotine content. The lower the nic content the harder it is to get the throat hit. You may want to consider one of the 5 volt bigger battery PV's to compensate for the 0 nicotine. The Prodigy from puresmoker.com or the GG or the LV.

Much of the time it feels "plugged" or something and draws very hard.
Sounds like a flooded atomizer to me.

Blow it out very hard with a paper towel to catch any juice.
Keep doing this until no more juice comes out.

Then put two drops right on the atomizer and put on a new cartridge.

If that solves the problem then you have been flooding your atomizer.
Which is probably due to struggling with getting your automatic batteries to work for you.

Also--what is the difference between the blue and orange tips and is it supposed to get warm?

the color just shows how cool you are because you are vaping... :D

no difference in colors unless it is blinking in a different color, then it is talking to you. did you get a manual with your kit? the manual should tell you what the blinks mean. it's usually saying it needs to be recharged or it's 'cleaning' the atomizer.

mine has never been warm. is yours getting warm?

If you're looking for a no nicotine vape, I'd suggest that you try whatever candy oil suits you mixed with VG (vegetable glycerine) VG produces lots of vapor, and you can play with the oils until you get the flavor level to your satisfaction.

As for throat hit, you'll get some from the VG, but I've found that it mostly correlates directly to nicotine level.

You can get blunt syringes at JuicyLiquid.com, cheap.

Yes it is always warm, almost hot when i inhale. Blinking again now. Dang!

Yes, I remember the frustrations of an auto switch PV like the 901. I hate to tell you this, but it will only get worse over time. The battery switch could also be getting gummed up and when that happens enough, you just have to get new batteries.

When you get frustrated enough, move to a manual switch PV like the 510 or Prodigy or Screwdriver or GG or Janty Stick and all of these problems will disappear. You will move to virtually hassle free vaping.

You will get there eventually, just hang in there.

Your goal, should you choose NOT to get a manual battery, is to make the light at the end of your electronic cigarette light up, and stay lit for as long as possible. If you keep inhaling when the light is off, you will begin the process of flooding your atomizer.

I suggest blowing out the atomizer again, topping off your cartridge or putting on a fresh one, and get to experimenting. Stand in front of a mirror and watch how the battery indicator (the LED at the end) reacts as you inhale softly, slowly, harder, quicker, and any combination in between.

You have to learn to work the batteries in a subtle dance of passion.
Yeah, I said that.

If you work through it you might find a happy place that works for you.
Or you could just cut through the crap and get a manual battery.

Thanks for all the help so far the community has been great. Well I could take it no longer so I just ordered my Janty Dura-C (actual Janty not knock off), 10 extra blank carts, 3 diff candy oils, 3 bottles of vg, some menthol crystals and a couple drip bottles to mix all this goodness.
This process has taken me about 2 weeks to finally pull the trigger after multiple review threads, un-countable google searches, you tube video's and finally posting up.
I spent about $98 total including shipping, think I did pretty good. Ordered from 2 diff sites. Ordered the Janty and blanks from dietsmokes.com and then ordered the juice and other stuff from belowzeroliquids.com. Of course after I ordered the liquids I checked the actual place they get the liquids from wich is LorAnn oils and found that site to be just a little bit cheaper.
I hope after all my ?s that this story:) can provide somebody else that is seeking answers some help. This was some serious research, I hope this product works as good as the reviews state.
I have a bad feeling I'm going to get the "sorry were out of stock" email here in a day or so lol, just my luck.
I'll post up once I get everything fired up and mixed up just to follow up.

Thanks again for the help, you guys rock and this site is great.
