I've had a lot of luck with my Aspire nautilus. It's treated me very well, so I decided to repay it's great service by ripping the bottom spring out of it. Not on purpose mind you. I was cleaning it last week, and noticed it was really dank looking at the bottom where the spring is. I decided I knew what I was doing and broke the spring. Even with this bright maneuver by yours truly, the nautilus kept on working.
I decided I better order a new one just in case. I found one on Ebay, avoiding those $18.99 ones on purpose because you know the costlier vendors have the real deal, right?
Well it came today. Instantly upon opening I was taken aback at how shiny it was. Then I noticed the adjustable air flow ring on the bottom looked different. What do you know? It was!! It was a thin metal strip with a hole punched through that not only could you turn, but you could also move it up and down. I started looking at it more carefully, doing the old hold it next to the old nautilus eyeball check. Good grief... The workmanship on this one makes me think a right handed person made it with his left hand. It's just that bad.
Can you say bummer?
