The kind of vape I am talking about is for TC vaping I believe.

I have been vaping the Nebox and the Kanger Subtank for some while now (about 2 months). Long ago I had a Nebox and the rba deck got stuck in it so I threw it away. My dad who works with metals could not get it out. Anyway. So I just got a new one. Long ago when I had the old one the SSOCC Nickle coils were a great vape, and I got this sensation from it, it doesn't do it on non TC coils, it fires like really loud, not like too loud, but it just makes a good sound. Sounds nice I guess. It is not too loud. But it seems like it would heat it up a whole lot better. And so that's my main point. I believe it heated it up just great, as best as could be heated up. Well today, actually about 2 days ago and lasted for like 2 weeks or so, it did the same thing. I was accustomed to this type of vape, and started to believe it was the best possible vape I could get. I got tons of vape gear but nothing does it like that Nebox did it. The subtank would probably work on my Kbox 200 or whatever in the same way. I'm not sure. And trust me I've tried it, well I guess I haven't tried the SSOCC Ni coils on the subtank, but when I did, and also on the Nebox, it does this to me now, when I try it on the nebox or the Kbox, at the present day, it no longer vapes how I like it, you know with that noise. I guess sometimes it sounds kind of like it but it isn't quite as loud. I get not too much vapor from it when it did it real loud, but THE PERFECT amount. I also wanted to ask if it's ok to vape NI wire in TI mode, because it vapes about the same as how I like it. I'm not vaping it that way now because I feel it is not safe.

So I guess that about sums up my story. My question, are you familiar with this tc vape? Is kind of weird I guess, you may not be familiar with it, but if you know what you think is happening, then please let me know. I would do anything to get my regular setup back. It vapes like a crown champ, and I can't have me vaping the 0.5 OCCs, and getting a bad vibe from it, all my life.

I am also vaping the NI OCC (not the SSOCC) coils, and at least one time, it vaped how I want it to vape. I think it made the same sound.

I have tried taking the coil out and putting it back in to get the mod to recognize new coil. That isn't working.

Is it the room temp thing? That seems like telling a person to touch glue, but nevertheless, if I am not "at room temperature", I suppose you "can help" with this. lol

And no I would not vape anything else. I got 9 different setups, all very good and popular setups, but not a one vapes like I want it to at the moment. In truth, the majority and that is all of them vape like total trash. I can't even get the crown to work like I like it, and the TFV4's 8 coil Clapton coils are totally worthless to me. I would never expect to get as much vapor from it as from the 4 Clapton coils coil. The 4 one just produces far more vapor, contrary to what it says on the package (according to Indoor Smokers).

So let us know, we are in dire need of understanding why our vapes suck.

OK it's been a day with no replies so I felt I'd give an update.

Last night I tried the Kanger Subtank Mini on my fuchai, and on that thankfully you can lock the resistance, and it usually does that sound at higher resistances, but I found that you gotta be careful. But I still found that, even at some of the higher resistance settings, like 20 or 25 it is not producing much vapor. And this morning it is not producing anything much if anything at all. It produces FAR less vapor than a cigarette, and this is a 0.15 nickel coil!!! You guys must know what is going on.

Please, counsel is needed and very much awaited.

I read your first post last night, but I didn't understand what you were asking. Thought I would leave it for someone who did get it, but I'll give it a go now :)

A couple of thoughts. You have a bunch of gear, much of it not performing as you want it to. In my experience that typically means you're missing something fairly basic in how ecigs work and/or how to use them.

I suggest you chose one mod and one atty to use and put the rest aside until you've got that working the best you can. This could take a couple of days or a couple of weeks, but it's rarely just a couple of hours.

Once you've picked your gear, watch a few Youtube videos that explain the mod features. You need to know the mod well enough so you can properly set it up for what you want to do with it. Atomizer design also limits things like max wattage, vapor production and flavor production. The same juice in different atties will taste different, sometimes a lot different.

TC is easy to understand, but it can really trip you up if you don't know how it works and how to set it up properly. I suggest you start with either Kanthal or SS coils and use wattage mode only until you know how to make that work with your setup. Come back and give us all the details on what you have chosen to use and how it is set up. Which head you have installed, how clean it is, your build if you are using a rebuildable atty, wattage range experimented with, where you like the watts, what juice you're using (including pg/vg ratio) and anything else that pertains to any issues you're experiencing. Once you're at the point you can ask specific questions on a single setup, I think you'll get much more feedback here :thumb:

As for the 'snap, crackle and pop' that clean coils can make, that is not the best way to judge performance. It varies with different atties, wattages, and will start off louder with clean coils and become quieter as they gunk up. Get the vape you want first and then listen to how it sounds in that atty at the watts you like. From there you can use that as a guide to how gunked your coils are and if there is an issue with a new or freshly cleaned head.
