I would first like to say a second thank you to everyone on this forum for all the wonderful information. You have no idea how helpful it has been.

Second, to anyone that read my first post/thread, I promise that I will try and keep this one a little shorter (note that I said try :)).

So, I ordered my starter kit from CigEasy on 12/7/10 and received it on the 9th. A happy mix up caused it to be delivered to my office instead of my home, which worked out great. I received 2 auto KR808 (Easy) batteries, one auto pass through, 5 cartos of Easy Boro, a 10 ML bottle of USA Mix and of course a charger. Frank at CigEasy also through in one carto of RY4 for me (Thanks Frank). Since this arrived at my office on the morning of the 9th it means that my last analog was smoked at 9:30 that morning. I would like to say that things have been going great, but I just can't. Things have been going so much better than great that the words to describe it just aren't available. My first puff off of my new KR808 was heavenly. The EasyBoro was very smooth with just the right amount of flavor and throat kick that it literally made me wonder why I had ever put a regular old analog cigarette to my mouth. I can now happily say that I am now a non-smoker and don't even have the urge for an analog anymore.

These past three weeks (almost) really have been wonderful. Grumpy dad that is always looking for a reason to get away and smoke is gone. I've been able to spend loads of time with my wife and kids and the thought of sneaking away hasn't even entered my mind. It really has been great. In the past I often dreaded the holidays because I was craving a cigarette the whole time and couldn't get away for fear that someone wold smell the smoke on me or my clothes, but this year I was able to be very involved and stay with the family the whole time. If I got a craving I just headed to the restroom, took a few puffs on my PV and I was good to go for a few hours. I have to say that I feel better than I have in a long time and my family has really noticed the difference. My wife, the only one in my family that knew I was smoking, is thrilled and she is now wondering if there is some way to put vitamins in the juice so I remember to take those too.

Since my first order, I have gone back and ordered a manual batter and a case (not a PCC) along with a couple bottles of juice from My Vapor Store. I also ordered 30 ml of USA Mix, 10 ml of RY4 and 5 more cartos from CigEasy plus 10 ml of RY4, 10 ml of Hypnotic Myst, 3 ml of 555, 3 ml of RY5 and 3 ml of Wyatt Earp from FreedomSmokeUSA. I didn't really like RY4 when I first tried it, but I've been mixing it 50/50 with the USA MIX and it is just about perfect. The mix has the perfect blend of tobacco flavor with enough sweet flavor that that combo has become my current favorite. I really like the pre-mixed 50/50 RY4 from FreedomSmokeUSA. The amount of vapor that it produces is really nice, but I may change to a 60/40 or 70/30 to get a little more TH and flavor out of it. All in all though I am really happy and will continue to experiment with different combinations. As I type this I am vaping the Hypnotic Myst using my pass through and it tastes really good, but is just a bit too sweet by itself.

I'm also seriously considering buying 3 or 4 starter kits just to keep in my car. I could have sold at least a dozen in the past three weeks as smokers keep coming up and asking me about my "strange" black cigarette with the blue tip. Some of them know exactly what it is from the late night TV commercials and others look really confused about it. During the last poker tournament I was in I spent almost as much time explaining my ecig as I did actually playing cards. I gave out information about the forum and the website addresses of the few places I have done business with to everyone that asked. I also converted two people in my office. One who received her starter kit from CigEasy yesterday and the other has his on the way. Do any of the Forum Suppliers have an affiliate program? I would seriously consider getting involved in something like that.

Anyway, that is the continuation of my story so far. As the song says, "Things are going great and they're only getting better." I just wanted to let people know how much I appreciate everything and let anyone that is interested in making the switch that it is one of the best things you can do, especially if your story is anywhere close to mine. Happy vaping everyone!

Congratulations! It's good to hear that the transition was easier than you thought it would be. The only unfortunate thing I have to tell you is putting vitamins or other additives in your juice won't work. They would be destroyed by the heat from the atomizer. You'll just have to keep taking your pills. I know, I know...I have to do it, too.

Congratulations! Despite the occassional urges, it almost seems easy.
too easy in some ways. sure wasnt JUST the $$$.....bought my first pack of cigs for .85. Told myself Id quit when over $2.....$3.......$4........never did......I liked to smoke. Now quite satisfied 2 months in even though I have had a couple really strong urges this week, it doesn't take much mental persuasion to get over them.......more like passing thoughts.

Wow you've been busy! I am still trying to convert my boss. I've known him 20+ years and worked 3 different companies with him. I would always be the one he'd grab to go outside and have a smoke with him because he knew I was always up for it. I got him interested - I brought in 3 PVs with fresh carts/cartos and had him try them all.

You know, that's funny. I had some very strong urges last week, but I just vaped until they went away. Years ago, I remember a smoking cessation program that had charted out when strong urges would occur after you stopped smoking. I think the last really strong urge was somewhere around 8 months.

Congradulations! I am very happy its been an easy transition for you. My husband lingered still on analogs for a while, but finally three weeks ago smoked his last one, and never bought any more. Glad your first e-cig was a good one, its sad when some find some crappy model and think they are all like that!!

Keep going, and good for you!

Good on ya. Stick with it, affore ya know it all the old habits will be gone. Like tapping your shirt pocket to get an analog. Or checking to see that you have a bic in your pocket when you leave the house.

Almost everybody selling these things has an affiliate program available. Just email them.

Good Luck,
Cheers,
