So a fellow vaper gave me his extra Magma to go with the AR clone I got recently. I'm pretty sure it's a clone, but for free, It's a great price, and it's going on a clone anyway.
I've wanted one of these for a while based on feedback, so I figured I'd share my thoughts after a few hours with it. I know this should probably go in reviews, but I consider this musings more than a real review. If a mod wants to move it, go for it.

Build - dual coil 26g 1/8"id @ 0.37ohms wicked with sterile cotton surgical pad.
Mod - AR clone
Battery - VTC5

1st the design incorporates a couple of my favorite things from the Tobh, which is my black herring. My 1st modern rda was a patriot, I had the choice of the Tobh or the Patriot, I chose poorly, since then the Tobh and I have not crossed paths unless it belonged to someone else.
The Magma has an internally domed top cap like the Tobh. In theory this should accelerate the flow of vapor and create a smaller chamber condensing vapor and enhancing flavor. It also has insanely deep juice wells, even more pronounced than the Tobh.
Bottom airflow. Very cool concept and works well. My biggest complaint is even wide open I would like more air. Due the the more complex design of the bottom feed airflow, it is far harder to drill it out for more airflow as there are multiple axis to deal with.
I find it is a little annoying that there is no pull off top cap like many other drippers, you have to either drip through the top hole, or unscrew the top then have to reset the air control ring and reassemble. I'm getting over it, but it would be nice to be able to see what was going on in there a bit easier.

2nd this thing is a joy to build on, super easy. Normally I am not a fan of flathead screws in any application, it works here.

3rd wicking seems to have a bit of a learning curve, but is not difficult. For me it worked better with minimal wick dipping into the wells. I need to pick up some more Rayon, I think that that will be an improvement over the cotton in this application. I also noticed that it takes a bit of time for the wicks to break in and start really working well with the wells.

I'm really digging this atty. The vape is a bit warm due to the current airflow, but it is not hot to the point of being bad. It is going to be my go to setup for a bit. The flavor is great, and I think I can improve that even more through wicking. The vapor production is very good, and I think can be improved with a date with the drill press.
