Hello all... I can' even begin to tell you how excited that I am, that after being a pack a day smoker for almost 30 years, I have been cigarette free for 12 days!!! I owe huge thanks to the vaping community and especially my buddy Sean at work, who has tirelessly and passionately been showing me the ropes. Every day I come to work he has a new juice for me, and is genuinely excited to follow my progress. My wife has been super supportive and is even trying to learn to vape as well ( she is a very casual social smoker). So again THANK YOU to a wonderful community!

Congrats on 12 days and welcome to ECF!! Glad to see you so excited! It's such a great feeling is it not!! As a 2 pack a day smoker for 20 years, I quit just a little over 2 months ago and I still feel great. Keep going! It's a bit of a learning curve but sounds like you have a great support system and there is a ton of information here to help as well!

Hi GillTheGrunt and welcome to the forum!

Congrats on the 12 days!

Looks like you have a good support system. That's fantastic!

If you ever have any questions, need any help or advice - just ask. Someone will come along and assist.

Happy Vaping!

Gill.

"Ooorah" or "Hooah", depending on your flavor of uniform. I'm USN so I guess we say "AHOY"?

Welcome to the forum!

It's great that you have a local mentor there at your unit and 12 days smoke free after 30 years of smoking is no small accomplishment.

Remember: this is a process and not a perfect one at that. Don't get discouraged if you stumble on the path, come here for help, support and (occasionally) some entertainment...And keep vaping!

What set up do you use? You CONUS or OCONUS? Having any problems getting gear or supplies? What's your unit's vaping policy?

Anyway...Welcome, brother.
I'll see you on the threads.

Hello, and thank you for the warm welcome.

I am Army, (and the Army thing is HOOAH), currently OCONUS in Germany, and so far so good on getting my vape mail...I started on a Volcano Inferno and have also started on an Egrip, which I like very much...can't wait for my RBA to get here though (need more airflow). I have an Aspire Atlantis the sub-ohm battery, an E-leaf Istick 50w, and Mutation V3 on the way as well..thats the bad thing about working with my buddy Sean, he always talking me abotu different kit...then I end up buying it LOL

As far as my units vape policy...it's pretty much the same as smoking...but they don't have anything negative to say about it either way.

Again thanks so much for the welcome and we'll see you out there.
