first, i just have to say how much i love cignot.com! i placed my order this past Friday at around 10am, and then an hour later, i got an e-mail notification that it had already been shipped. i really wasn't expecting it until tomorrow, but when i tracked the package this morning, it was already at my local PO. amazing i tell you!

i got a USB PT, so i got to go at it as soon as i unwrapped everything. i went straight for the Forbidden flavor, and whoa! i now know why people rave about the vapor from the 510, and what a good throat hit is! in fact, i ended up coughing a little and my chest felt sort of heavy but i heard that was expected.

i have about a half a pack of analogs left, and i got curious. i took exactly 2 drags and promptly put it out. i was completely shocked over how i had no desire to finish it. the taste wasn't repulsive to me (at least not yet), but i guess it's a good sign that i'll be on my way to being smoke-free soon. i'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed.

i have a few questions though. i know for stronger flavors like Clove, you should have one atty solely dedicated for that flavor, but would it be advisable to keep a separate atty for each flavor of e-juice? i noticed that when i switched from Forbidden to English Toffee, i still had very strong hints of Forbidden left over even though i thought i blew out the atty pretty well.

also, can someone tell me where the bridge is on an atty? i've read that you should put a drop or two of juice on the bridge whenever you replace a cart, but i'm not sure where that is. is it the part that the wick is going over?

lastly, has anyone had their cart melt? i knew there was something wrong because every time i would draw, i kept on hearing sort of a whistling sound. i took the cart off and the edges were definitely melted. what did i do wrong here? the atty didn't feel very hot at all, so i'm not sure if i overused it or not.

i've attached a pic of my melted cart, and my new storage system for my accessories. it's a 7 compartment bead organizer i got for $2 at Walmart, and so far it fits all my e-juice and carts that i got so far. ;)

I don't do 'one for each juice' to be honest. I DO have attys for fruits (like one atty = all fruits) and one for 'strong stuff' (mints/cinamon etc - they wont come out of the atty easily and might mix with each other but not OTHER flavors well) and one for everything else.
I also have a bunch of 'backups' that I use if an atty dies (hasn't been an issue in 4 months so far, cept one died 2 nights ago aged 4 months lol, but I get paranoid so I got plenty of spares)
The melting cart thing - it happens sometimes - not to me - but its not uncommon - a lot of people jsut slice a bit of cart off the atty side (note: ONLY ever mess with the cart NOT the atty) to avoid that.
The atty bridge: look into the atty with the cart OFF. See the mushroom thing sticking up down inside? COvered with a cross hatched mesh? Thats the bridge.
If you go to the ECF Library thread you can see a post by quasimod called 'guide to direct dripping' (or close to it) and that has pics that show the bridge too :)

Glad you're enjoying vaping as much as you are! If you look carefully down inside your atty you'll notice a white oval-shaped object down inside. When you put your cart on the atty, try and line up the oval-shape of the cart with the oval inside the atty. You still may get a little melting, but it will be minor.

What I do is scratch a line on each side (outside) of my atty to show me where the "short" ends of the oval inside are. That way I don't have to look inside the atty every time I put a cart on.
