Day 3
(though I'm still smoking cigarettes, so just "day 3" of vaping)
I've been using my 501 regularly since I opened it; loving it! Figured out how to work/use my chargers (they need a youTube vid for that!); I've been swapping out batts a few times a day -- no prob w/ charging batts. Figured out I need to squeeze out the juice on the prefilled carts and fill them with my eliquids to get a taste I like right away.
But this evening I got a definite burning smell/taste when vaping. I looked at the cart immediately, and saw the wick was a bit singed. Worse was that the cart was melted on two sides (I think where it touches the atomizer's metal bridge). I got rid of that cart, but wondered if it's normal for the carts to MELT like that?!
I think I used that cart almost all of the three days -- I swapped batts primarily. So is three days of "regular" usage about right for a cart's life?
Or is it not normal for a cart to melt (and maybe there's something wrong with my battery or my technique?)
The batt does heat up a lot sometimes, but I figured that was normal.
Also, should I switch atomizers when I switch batts?
Man, I feel like I'm smoking/vaping TOO much if I MELT the cart!
Thanks for any guidance!
