Well I got some materials for DIY( from Wizard Labs ) and have them in front of me as i type.I am wanting to make a tiny Batch of 6mg juice for testing and need a Place to start. Here are the materials I have,
24 MG Nicotine Solution 70%PG/30% VG
PG (USP Grade
VG(USP Grade
Marlborro Tobbaco Flavored concentrate
Tobbacco flavored Concentrate
Tobbacco absolute Blend (pg)
Commercial tobbacco flavor concentrate
vannillin (10%PG)flavor concentrate)
Double chocalate Flavor concentrate
Menthol PG (10% solution flavor concentrate
Cotton candy flavor concentrate
Koolada.
I am not wanting to try any Menthol now just a regular tobbaco flavor in 6 mg and a small sample to see if I like it.
I have a 1ml Luer lock tip syringe
I have a 3ml Luer lock tip syringe
I have a luer 5mm lock tip syringe
Also 14,16and 18 guage Blunt tip Luer needles

Also have 10 Ml bottle (other purchase of juice)and other bottles but the 10 ML is the smallest.

Now I am ready to get started so where do I start ? as I said I just want to make a little to try for my mom and leave and be gone for a day or so and i am wanting to make at least vapeable juice for her.I need to know how much(and of what) of any ingredient I need to start with on my first try to mix up for her to try. need to know as soon as possible.
Thanks
Craig

You don't want to mix too many ml. first off. You don't want nicotine until you have a taste level established.
This is what I would do:
I would start with 50 drops of PG. Add 1 drop of the tobacco flavor you want to start with. Mix and vape, & taste.
If its is good, great! If not, add 1 more drop, etc. Each drop is 2%
Then, use a juice calculator to mix up 4 or 5 ml of juice WITH nicotine. Taste and let it sit overnight.
This is a beginning . You can go on from here. My favorite ejuice calculator is : E-Liquid Calculator With Ten Flavor's
Always wear rubber gloves.
Good luck and be careful to keep notes!

If i want 6mg I take 24 and divide it by 4 and then i will have approx 6mg right ?
In other words if I wanted to try 4ml of 6mg juice when starting with 24mg of juice then I would have one part nicotine solution and 3 parts pg,vg and flavorings ?so for 4ml I would have 1ml of nicotine solution,3ml of pg,vg and flavorings combined.
With a 50/50 ration og pg and vg that would breakdown to 1.5 ml of vg and 1.5 ml of pg
So I would have 1ml of 24mg juice and 1.5 ML of PG and 1.5ML of VG and then my flavorings and I would end up with 4ml of 6MG Juice?Do I figure the Flavorings as part of the PG/VG Ratio ?or the total equatio and what percentage is considered a good place to start ?
In other words lets say 10% for flavoring was a good place to start then in this scenario would I want 10% of 4ml or would I want 10% of VG/PG or ?
Thanks
Craig

If your carrier fluid is 70PG/30VG, you will need to add some VG to achieve a 50/50 final mix. I would suggest using an e-liquid calculator to get precise recipes.

On a side note, does your tobacco flavor concentrate from Wizard Labs smell funny to you? I find that it smells like RAID bug spray and was wondering if my batch was "weird" or if others get that note too.

Make sure you dilute the TA before you use it; it's really strong. I suggest trying some very straight forward flavors, esp tobacco, in the beginning. I have also found, thanks to these forums, that Cotton Candy or Ethyl Maltose (sp?) is almost always used with tobacco flavors. Some people also add vinegar. Tobacco flavors are harder to nail than others. I also found, in the posts of others, that tobacco mixes should always steep -preferably at least one week.

Always take notes. Particularly pay attention if you tweak a recipe as to how you changed it. It would be really sad if you nail your favorite flavor and have no record of what you mixed.

Just trying to help. I started the DIY learning curve about 3 months ago. I always get my nic in one base because it's easier for me to calculate PG/VG ratio when I know that my nic solution only contains one.

Really....I hope this helps. There are many more, much more, savy and experienced mixers than me; keep reading and studying. I believe that one of the basic premises of DIY is to find, nail, and re-mix flavors suited to you.
