So I got my first E-Cig!

As I mentioned in my first post the other day, I ordered the Safe Cig (I hadn't found this forum yet and so I didn't know I could get the same or better models for cheaper). That being said, it's wonderful. And the model came with a usb charger and a regular one, so for now it will do.

So now what I need to do is find some cartridges that taste like a newport. Any suggestions? The menthol in the cartridges I have taste like Nat Sherman mints or something, more mint than menthol.

Also, they were listed as "high," but they're only 18mg. From what I've heard, I might prefer the 36.

It feels good to finally have this in my hands. It's so exciting.

Congrats Jude , welcome...you may want to experiment trying a few menthol juices(Samples) until you find one you like...they are going to be different than a cig...always remember that...Backwoods brew has a great tobacco menthol...he has several review threads in here..Good luck!!!

HI- Researching only on my own, I too chose Safe Cig, but I find it simple, clean and neat, and ready to smoke (ie, batteries already charged) right out of the box. I was not a hard core smoker (10-15 analog cigs per week), but enjoy weaning off and elimination of the stench. I liked that Safe Cig did not promote flavors, and stuck just with "tobacco" flavor, two different choices, plus a menthol, and nic choices from like 18mg down to 0. I will use what I learn here to perhaps change companies, but am fine until I use up what came with the starter kit.

Thanks for the links. It's looking like, from what I've been able to research, the chances of getting cartomizers for this that are higher than 18mg is not likely. It appears, from what I can find on this forum, that the model is RN4081. Luckily, from what I understand, this model can also take an atomizer and cartidges? Or I can buy blank cartomizers and fill them with my own liquid? Anyone with any advice on this would be appreciated (as in how do you do it). I'm going to search more on the forums here, of course. I see there's a subforum for this model.

So far I'm loving it, and I'm happy with the model, but would like to get a bit of a stronger nicotine level.
