Hey all, so I have a VAMO, and I do really like it, I am just struggling with the VV/VW, I perfer using the VW, but I just switched atomizers (they are both 2.7 ohms). I have done lots of reading, I use the Ohm's law calculator, I have looked at spreadsheets, and I am still stumped. Right now I have the VW set at 3.0w. Anything higher and it tastes burnt. Yesterday (with the old atomizer) I had it at 5.0w, and I was vaping just fine. I am confused to why I had to turn it down 2 watts.

I keep seeing the ideal VW is 6.0-8.0 but if I turn it up that high it just tastes awful, anyone help me out?

What is the "Zero Offset"? I'm not sure I understand that.

When using a dmm or ohmmeter, you connect the two probes directly to each other so that there is 0 ohms, and then you look at the meter and check what reading it says. Chances are it will not say 0 ohms. If it says 0.5 ohms, then you have to subtract 0.5 from whatever the reading is to get the correct reading; the zero offset in that case is - 0.5 ohms.

I am on my 2nd V5 due to this issue.
anything over 3 watts, or 3 volts.....super nasty burnt taste.

Bought one last weekend, around Wed. it started cooking the crap out of the juice.
Fri. I got a replacement, today...same thing.

I have no idea what it is, but it suxxors!

Thing is going back tomorrow

EDIT:

With the crappy battery charger they put in this kit, I wonder if the batteries themselves are not the culprit?
