Evening Folks,
After doing a bit of lurking, and research on the whole E-Cig thing I went over to a recommended vendor and ordered the JAnty Dura-C set. It didn't come with any documentation, so I had to figure out what the peices were. The batteries seemed to be precharged, but I put one in the charger just in case. Is this allright? Is there a max time I should have one charging, and how do I know when the batteries need a recharge besides lack of operation.
I also ordered liquid, to refill the carts sent as well as the two empty carts that came with the set. I just pour it into the end with the plastic cover over it and slide it into the atty right?

Also .. is there a better way than trial and error to determine how much I should be using the ecig? Should I puff on it like I do analogs... every hour sit and have a smoke for 2-5 minutes? Should I puff every now and then... etc etc?
I think I might be underestimating the amount I need to be using this thing to stave off analogs..

Thanks for the help.

pretty sure if you go to the janty web page you can get the manual. the dura is a good choice,a little more expensive for a 510 but they put a larger european made coil in,so you get something for that extra cash IMHO. the carts that come on the atty when shipped are just for protection, so unless you plan to drip just put them aside to stuff them later.good luck

There certainly is a learning curve to vaping, but I can tell you one thing: If you think that's steep, try pipe smoking.

Batteries: Check Battery University for everything you ever wanted to know about rechargable batteries. This page gives a good overview.

Refilling: If you mean the usually white silicone cap, yes, that is what you pull off and then refill. Don't refill from the other end, you will get liquid in your mouth and not into the atty, and believe me, you don't want that. Liquid tastes vile.

There is no way but trial and error to find out how best to use your PV, because everybody differs. Many, especially in the beginning, pretty much vape constantly. It does after all taste good. Listen to your body - it will tell you when you use too much or too little nicotine.

Hi, I had my Dura-C for a week now, and have very mixed feelings about it. The carts I got with the box last for about 12 to 15 puffs, not even close to the 150-200 mentioned in the manual. The local suppliers who re-branded it just advised me to use the liquid to refill, but I still go very quickly through a cart. What I did see in the manual is to be sure not to use the manual switch for longer than 5 seconds at a time. I tend to take slitely shorter puffs than that, giving the atti time to cool down before the next puff, but still no real luck. My other set is a NJoy NCyg, the pen style, and Its carts lasts much longer. I wonder if I shouldn't have gone for the Janty Stick. Ah well, some lessons are harder than others...
