That 1st hit is unexpected, I know I couged my guts out hard too. The vapor hits your lungs a totally different way then cigarettes. It also proves that it can be a cig replacement when a cig can't make you cough like that in 1 hit.

Yup, the sensation is different but it was love at first vape for me too. Some of my friends will try it and cough and pass it back. But they always come back for more. Grin.
Everytime my son (20yrs old) comes by, as soon as he hits the door he's asking for one of my set-ups. I guess i'm gonna have to get him a kit. lol

I got a B&M story too.......I went to a B&M in Redwood City, Ca. to pick up some Kanthal wire and wick. They didn't have any wick but I eventually got my Kanthal wire. You see, it was on a Tuesday afternoon, about 3:00PM, and they had eight people waiting for service and three people servicing them behind the counter. This is a very small shop and, let me tell you, that room was full. I forgave them for the slow service, in fact, I walked out smiling.

LOL! In the last few days, I've given a first try with my Zmax to two guys at work who smoke and I have been trying to convince to give e-cigs a try....and BOTH of them got to hacking and coughing......I just laughed my ... off.....LOL! They did exactly what you guys have been telling me that they would do! Today one of them showed up at work, and as soon as he saw me he says, "75%!". So I says, "75% of what?", and he says, "75% reduction on my smoking already!". That was because the night before I had given him my now-unused starter kit and a box of bottles of "rejects" juices I decided I didn't want, with the stipulation that he was to pass it along to another smoker willing to use it to give it a go. I told my boss today that I was on the warpath for ex-smokers!

I don't get out to the local smokeshop much any more, but I stopped by a few days ago to look over their stock of empty cigar boxes to see what gems they had for sale and noticed their e-cig section had grown substantially since I'd last stopped in a few weeks before... Talked to the owner and he said his e-cigs business was exploding and was thinking about getting into some of the more exotic supplies like wire and wick... Looks like we're winning...

I had to stop vaping for a week after having my wisdom teeth out. It was a whole day before I could take a good hit off my Twist without coughing - even at 3.2V on a 2.2 ohm carto! That's what? 4.7W? I usually vape at around 8W! It was like my first time all over again and, up until that point, I'd been smoking maybe one cigarette a day whilst vaping - haven't touched one since!
