So im dripping on an Istick 20...

So i was in my local vape shop buying a nautilus Mini. Got curious and asked the guy if it was possible to build a drip coil over 1omh. I asked over 1ohm because of the Istick 20 not being able to fire under 1ohm. He said he could do it and sell me a cheap dripper as well. So with my purchase of the nautilus Mini, i also walked out with a Brass Monkey at 1.3 ohms. Im enjoying both really well, especially my rda. I wanted to see if dripping was for me and if I liked it, and I do. I very much do. Down side is it can only go up to 20w (duh I know) but personally i think its a great thing to learn on. The guy used 24g kanthal and 10 wraps i believe.

I use a Magma RDA and am on my first build. 28g around a 3mm (I think 6 wraps) measures at 1.8Ohm on the iStick. I'm actually very content at 11 or 12 watts. I'm using my iStick 30W, but I do have a 20W that I still use, so don't feel strange. lol. Nice looking setup, by the way!

Hell yeah, I have been drippin a plume veil on my istick 20 watt for a while now. I have a single 1.2 ohm build on it and it's a great little set up.

Yea it does! Im not blowing huge clouds like ive seen with mech mods but im getting a decent amount. A little more than my Nautilus. The flavor though.... pshhh, its pretty tasty. Allot better than any tank ive used.

Next week on "How I Blow My Paycheck" im pretty sure ill be buying a mech. The guy at the shop knows his stuff. He explained quite a bit to me. Im just gonna do more reading myself so i dont blow myself up.

If you're into flavor and not clouds, then a single-coil RDA at around 1~2 ohms often works like a champ. For example, even though I could do sub-ohm, my current build on my magna RDA is a single-coil 1.8ohm setup. Great flavor, no complaints.

Fascinating, maybe I'll talk to the guy at the closest B&M about that. He builds mods and drippers. I'll ask him and see if he's up for that and see from there. Probably be a good business for him. I'm not quite ready for a custom mod yet but this would be a good step into dripping. glad i found out about this tidbit

24 Ga @ 20 watts? i'm almost surprised it even makes vapor. there has to be lag. for 20 watts, i'd try 26 Ga A1. i run my 24 Ga closer to 40 watts per coil.
