so I'm just now reminded why I never get the wow carts

So on my latest order of cartos, I thought I would change it up and get wow cartomizers instead of the usual premiums (blanks). when I first started using them today, I was like "HOLY CRAP these are amazing, why don't I get these more often?" well, 4 hours later, my question is answered. about an hour or 2 into vaping it on and off, 2 of my autos die, and I cant find my manual. so I just said screw it and let it charge. after my shorty gets done I resume vaping. 5 minutes later, I get the burnt taste... AND I CAN STILL TASTE THE juice. I never have to worry about that with premiums, it's always gradual when those burn out, with wow cartos, it's like the inside burns up faster than the juice runs out! is this something I did or is this a "duh I could have told you that, only buy the premium cartos!"?

I find a wow cart = 1 auto shorty charge, very rarely do they last much longer than the battery. I do think I might be a little sensitive to taste though. I change carts as soon as the flavour starts being a little 'off', never wait for the burnt taste and my carts only ever take .5ml to refill, so they still have juice in them.

I'm sticking to cool carts as well, at least for my blanks. I've had kind of the same experience as you. For a while I blamed my smoker's taste buds. Repeatedly I'd find that I'd be tasting the flavor in the wow cartos just fine, then all of a sudden, mixed in with plenty of flavor, I'd taste that first hint of spent carto. Never had that issue with cool carts.

To be fair, this only happens to me when I'm bored and chain vaping up a storm. Still, I plan on sticking to cool carts at least for a few more months. Maybe once I've given my taste buds more time to sensitize, I'll try the wow cartos again. Cuz let's face it, the wow cartos put out a lot of yummy vapor

well, I was chain vaping, but still. I'm not that heavy of a smoker to begin with. I only do cigars and pipes, one a day if that. I want nicotine though, nicotine is good for me. it helps me concentrate. so I vape and use snus actually up till today I hadn't smoked a cigar in like 3-4 days and today I smoked out of a cheap ... corn pipe which didn't even last as long as a typical cigarillo, and I think I should just throw that away now because it smells bad.

Then perhaps the wow cartos aren't as chain-friendly? I don't have nearly enough experience to make such a sweeping generalization, but it seems to make sense given our similar experiences.

I like the premium carts over the WOWs only because I use them on my Buzz with an adapter. The WOWs burn too hot for the voltage that I like. With premiums, I can turn it way up if I want without issues. Sorry I don't use the little proprietary batteries...they just don't last long enough for me.

I have the best luck buying WOW prefilled and then refill those. If I get blanks I get the premium cool cartos.

Unless you have the patience and skill to clean them well, I recommend to just throw out any that taste burnt.

For the rest of what you have, you can try filling and letting them sit for several hours and then top off with a drop or 2 more, and be very careful they aren't leaking or have juice in the center hole (I blow gently into a paper towel) -- the WOW carts have a bit looser filling and can leak, but the vapor plumes are pretty awesome.

Sounds like one of the box mods. I always imagine it's like smoking a box/pack of cigarettes all at once. Some of those look like bomb devices :S If I had to have a Tool Time version of a PV I'd design one that looked like a can of coke with the cartomizer coming out like a straw

Sqirl sir the buzz is a vari volt tube mod...

The wow's can take chain vaping and high voltage, they just burn up the juice faster due to the lower ohm's (2.3 on avg), run hotter for the same reason, and hold 1ml of juice compared to the 1.2ml of the cool cart.... Have pushed them as far as 5.6v on a 2.3 ohm carto, which translates to 13.6watts of power....

Ms. Hairball what voltage are you running at?

It seems like catomizers are as varied as snowflakes. I no longer order my cartos from V4L. The WOW carts burn up in no time flat, and something really weird has happened to the Cool Carts. I use peppermint and the last few Cool Cart packs I had made the peppermint taste like toothpaste.

But V4L included a few prefilled menthol cartos with my last order and I had forgotten how frickin' yummy Dunhall menthol was. I go through them way too fast for it to be a reasonable economic choice for me. And for some reason the liquid just doesn't do it justice. But I may have to order some as a special treat with my next order.
